"The 30-story tall rocket is part of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum collection and one of only three such rockets in existence. The other two are in Alabama and Florida. It’s pretty incredible to see in person with a path that wraps around the entirety of the three separate stages. You can see this on the blue tram tour from the Space Center. Don’t miss this one."
"Educational and entertaining experience. There is an opportunity to learn about every Apollo mission as well as the rocket technology and modules themselves. The Augmented Reality prop is a welcome addition."
"First thing to do once you arrive to the Space Center is to take a turn for the ride to this facility. Is the only way to get there and it is always crowded. Inside the hangar you can find a fully functional Saturn V Rocket, the one that carried the first men to the moon. It is made up of the Rockets that were already built when the Apollo Project was cancelled. The Rocket is massive, biggest ever built by NASA, difficult to capture it whole in one picture."
"You have to see it to appreciate it. Easily one of the most incredible things I've ever laid my eyes upon. While the restoration of this historic masterpiece has been extremely well-done, the tragedy with this display is the building that houses it. The Saturn V is so big that you can't actually see the whole thing at once because the building it sits in is so small. Hopefully JCS is able to pull off building a better display format one day, but nonetheless, still an absolutely incredible experience."
"This is the most amazing place in Houston. Every visitor wants to visit this place to remember that once human walked on the surface of the moon."
