"I really can't give this place any formal of rating been there once 21 years ago when my son was still born and that's where the county buried him. One thing I can say is things are bit hard to navigate it was hard for me and his father to find the part of the cemetery our son was buried in. I'm not sure now but I guess that what you get when you can't afford to bury your own cause it was marked with a rather small plaque the half two letters and the last 4 of his father's ssn. If I had the money and it wasn't for my strong belief of leaving someone's grave undisturbed I'd have him relocated to Michigan where I am now."
"It is an older cemetery, so it is packed, I noticed today when I was out there they have added to the cemetery so there’s more spaces now available to bury your loved ones. Being from Grand Prairie yes I’ve heard the rumors whether or not they’re true I don’t know but we do have family members out there and we visit their graves and try to keep them as nice as possible. People do remove things off of the graves, which is very sad. I wish people would respect the dead. The roads are narrow, they have cleaned a lot of the bushes and trees out."
"Had my loved ones buried here and we finally got around being able to afford a headstone after two years. First of all, funerals and cemeteries in America are just all a big scam taking advantage of vulnerable families. I understand these businesses have to make money somehow and that is why things are expensive, but c’mon… Anyway, I know for a fact that in Texas, at least, you can buy a headstone from a third-party of your choice, but some cemeteries have rules, regulations and fees when it comes to the type that can be qualified and allowed. I am not interested in buying one from them, it’s simply not the style or design I want for my loved one, so I decided to have it personally designed by a third-party fabricator, when I called to see what their rules and regulations are they couldn’t give me a specific list. How do you have regulations that are not written to be given to the public? Lady on the phone wasn’t rude, but wasn’t helpful either. Please have your documentation updated and think of better ways to help people with finding answers not just “I don’t know”. After many other bad experiences with not just this specific cemetery but other funeral homes, I seriously encourage everyone to rethink burying their loved ones here. I know it’s the most affordable option, but it’s better to pay more (if possible) so you don’t have to go through the headache of terrible service and rules that don’t make sense."
"If I could give this cesspool ZERO stars I would. The staff is HORRIBLE. They offer zero help in an already difficult time. I tried inquiring about prices to lay a headstone..no prices given. I tried asking how big the headstone would be..no measurements given. I inquired about planting some shrubs/small tree/flowers and was told that anything planted would be ripped up off the grave! How disrespectful is that?! If I had the money I would move my loved one from this cemetery to any other one that wouldn't disrespect her!! Please do not waste your time with this place! They do not let you properly honor your loved one and only make a difficult time harder!!"
"My whole family is buried out there, its by far the worst cemetery! Bill is too old for this job, the crews he has does a horrible job on grounds. They don't respect your family, they try to force you to buy there vase, that they break and don't replace. So I bought a cross and hammered it in the ground and they removed it saying they cant mow, it would be no difference if there was a vase. Even when we don't have anything out, they don't mow around the headstones so grass is growing over them, I go out there ever month and pull up the weeds. Tell the people in the office they don't care they already made there money..... I'm glad its a full cemetery so no one else gets ripped off!! There are thorn trees too so watch not to get a flat tire when you go visit your loved one. If you got a plot there try to get a refund its horrible. I'm 32 years old and I visited my family out there since I can remember. There were rumors that they bury more then one person in spots be aware!! Wish I was rich so I could move my whole family 5 generations out of this horrible cemetery."
