"We absolutely love Lake Forest Peds.! Dr. Tirkeldsen along with Dr. Hanley have seen our boys and have done a thorough job each time. I was always able to get my son in for same day sick appointments which as a first time mom meant fast relief from anxiety. I have always been treated kindly and with courtesy by nurses and staff. It was a pleasure to be part of this practice for the three years we spent in IL."

"WORTHLESS AWFUL PLACE! DO NOT take your child here. They do not care, they don’t have appointments for your child. They probably won’t see your child when they are sick. It’s heavily under staffed, and they won’t see your child on Sunday because they’re too cheap to pay the necessary providers."

"I love love the doctors at this office. However, getting through the reception is like watching paint dry. Every time I have to make or cancel an appointment I have a minimum 45 min wait time before I get to speak to someone. If my child is sick and I need to talk to someone… forget about it. It’s quicker to take them to urgent care. I am not sure why there is such a long wait time to get anyone on the phone. And this is nothing new. My child is now 11 and this has been an issue ever since he was born. I don’t want to leave the practice because I love the doctors but something has to be done about the wait times."

"Terrible experience with their billing department. They said my insurance company denied a claim. After investigating I learned that the claim had never been submitted. My insurance provider was willing to resolve the issue and we had a three-way call with Lake Forest Pediatrics billing department. Lake Forest Pediatric refused to submit the claim again and instead tried to bully me into paying it out of pocket. It was pretty alarming how tone deaf they were. They couldn’t understand why a low income family wouldn’t be able to pay a few hundred dollars out of pocket that instant. I pay a small fortune for health insurance and also $75 at the time of the visit. Their unwillingness to resolve the issue was disappointing and disturbing."
