"Family-member went in for common/basic issue. Treatment was ineffective and billed twice as much, compared to other local care centers (same issue, tests, and in-network insurance)."
"This urgent care is clean, convenient, and efficient. Everyone who works at the front desk is warm and empathetic. The nurses are so great to my boys and I — the doctors, too! I’m so grateful that this place exists right in Lake Bluff! 10000/10."
"Horrible wait times, overall laziness, and tele health “streamlining the process” isn’t worth it you might as well go somewhere else before dealing with northwestern med."
"I went to this facility on a Monday— one day after experiencing a horrible sore throat, coughing and a runny nose. I was given a strep test (negative) and was told that I most likely did not have Covid, but I could have a test if I wanted. I was so exhausted from getting to the clinic that I decided to forego the test and get back to bed. And I had faith in the doctor’s opinion so I didn’t home test until Thursday, when I lost my sense of taste and smell. It was positive. I’m 77 and have a spouse with lung disease. I realize that I should have pressed for a test— and that the doctor, recognizing my symptoms, should have taken the leadership on this. Sick people don’t have the best judgment. So— I went on to infect my spouse and several friends. Highly recommend that the doctors there be more proactive— especially with people at high risk."
"I have NEVER received such amazing service as I ado at this walk-in. Not only did Dr. Todd L. Paxton take the time to listen to my long health history, he understood me! He was kind, compassionate, funny, and considerate about my terrible PTSD and Anxiety. I really wish he had a private practice! He really listened and didn’t criticize or make me feel insignificant. Most of the doctors I have seen have always judged me and made me feel uncomfortable for even seeing them. I really am glad that I went to this walk-in and had such an amazing doctor today :)!"
