"Asked them to add a screw to secure a pearl handgrip on. Blackhawk. . Gun was returned completely dysfunctional. They took zero responsibility. $160 to ruin my gun."
"MG Arms has done work for me with great quality craftsmanship that look awesome and shoot great. I have also had a couple of major repairs done that were nothing short of amazing. I have always been very pleased with their work and professional and friendly service. In reading a few of the reviews it shows me that pleasing the public is never easy and people are always in a hurry. Maybe we should have started the project several months ago to complete on time. As for me I can wait on the staff at MG Arms to build my perfect custom rifle and I know it will be exactly as I specified. I highly recommend this custom builder and trust them 100%. Thanks to all of the staff at MG Arms for your great work!!!"
"I've had 2 custom rifles built there. First was a 7STW Ultra light. Groups 3/8 of an inch all day long. It's the most accurate belted mag I have ever owned or seen. The second is a 220 swift single shot bolt action built out of an XP 100 action. It's a one hole rifle at 200 yards! Are the fastest Gunsmiths in the world .......no. Took a year to complete each one. The fit and finish on each rifle is spot on. You cant get the accuracy and finish like that by wanting a fast job. I would and do highly recommend these guys. And will have more rifles built there."
"Came in to free float my barrel on my AR, basically just install a new gas block and the new hand-guard, just an hours worth of work since I already took off the old parts but no. It took them 2 weeks to get done with my rifle, I understand there might have been people ahead of me but come on its just 45 mins to get done. Worst part is when I finally got my AR back the work was not up to scratch with things not being aligned properly. The whole experience left a lot to be desired, defiantly would NOT RECOMMEND."
"I brought in a Sig P-226 for new night sights to be installed on the pistol. I expected a professional installation by a qualified gunsmith. What I got back as a finished product looked like it was installed by a impatient kid with a hammer and a punch, instead of a professional gunsmith. The side of the front sight dovetail was bent, scratched and misshaped and the factory finish was chipped off. Six days after I picked up my weapon the "new" front sight quit glowing (no doubt due to the damage inflicted on it by the installer), now only the rear sights work. The owner of MG Arms, will not speak to me on the phone (always too busy), or he is gone on a trip, etc.,etc. also commonly known as "B.S." !! I have two other Sig's that I needed the same thing done to them, sent them both back to Sig Arms -returned- Perfect, totally professional installation on both weapons. And the two ultra light rifles in .270 & .308 along with (1) Rem. 700 light weight replacement stock that I wanted to buy will now be purchased elsewhere. The employee at the counter was very nice and seemed knowledgeable, I dealt with him both times I was there. But the actual work product at MG Arms from my limited (1 time) experience is terrible. The lack of interest shown by the company owner is even more telling. He did not even know why I was calling to speak with him, but I'm sure that he correctly guessed why. What a shame! I will never go back there for anything. Total waste of time, money, and effort. If you need gun work done. My advice is to "go to a professional gunsmith who actually care about their customers" because I doubt that you will find that here. I sure didn't."
