"2/24/2024 dined at Sweet Basil had to send back broccoli and a flatbread cold. Arugula lettuce salad served on flat plate that kept sliding off - asked for bowl. Panini was good not pressed. Monster flat bread enjoyed. Meatloaf sundae said real mashed potatoes - debatable. Just wish meatloaf was seasoned better. Asked for gravy on side - never happened. Had two receipts one on table then a different receipt on charge card. Hey difference of only $4 for ice cream which was to be included in meal? 142964 order #"
"It was our first time here. This is one of those places where the menu has so much that it's hard to make all the food fresh, and there's going to be some dishes that are lacking. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner all day. I ordered the breakfast burger with beef, ham, cheese, and egg. The meat patty was not good. Seemed like it was just a thin frozen patty they heated up. My husband got the loaded breakfast Burrito. He said it was good, but they barely put anything in it besides egg. We had great service though. We might be back to try other things."
"The portion sizes here are a little wild. When you get a breakfast skillet, they offer toast or pancakes on the side. The "side pancakes" could easily be their own meal. I also included a picture of my daughter with her pancake meal ordered from the kid's menu. There was zero chance that she was going to eat any more than 20% of what she was given. Without exaggeration, my 4 kids could have split one meal and been totally content. We'll probably do that in the future. It was a Saturday morning when we visited. We had a party of 9, and it was pretty busy, so understandably, there was a bit of a wait. In general though, the service was good, and we'll likely be back."
"For as dead as it was the service was pretty inattentive. Had to interrupt the servers standing around talking to get my check taken care of after we had sat a good 10 minutes after our check was dropped off. I'd hate to see this place if it gets busy. Food wise, the portions are quite robust. The Swedish pancakes were pretty dang good, although the lingonberry spread was frozen so that it didn't spread very well. My wife's french toast was also fine. The Canadian bacon and eggs I had were poor. The eggs had a strange hue that told me they were not actual eggs despite being assured they were. The meat was cold from the moment it came out, with no marks of any kind to indicate it had ever touched a flat top. No, these were tiny discs of meat, thrown in a microwave for 30 second probably left sitting around till the pancakes were done. So I'm torn on if I would return here or not. I was afraid that the giant menu indicated a lack of focus and the chance that less popular items would be subpar in the freshness arena, and I fear I was correct."
