"Please do not get BCBS!!!! I have been on the phone for a month trying to get my brothers chemo meds ,he has Gioblastoma time is of essence.Everything was fine for 5 months no problems, as soon as my brother started the Chemo ( $12,000 a treatment, needs 4 more)they keep canceling without reason just kept blaming it on Marketplace (fall guy) I am heartbroken. So if you have or planning to get cancer DO NOT GET BLUE CROSS!!. I would give O stars if possible. They know what this cancer is and knows my brother will die and they DO NOT CARE!!!No Empathy"
"The worst of all Medicare advantage provider compared to Aetna and United Healthcare. Dental coverage is misleading as it is almost nonexistent. No dentists would accept them and they would deny everything..Will definitely change when this term is up."
"This company never acknowledged that I met my co-insurance deductible. I had to pay full price for every medicine I needed for 3 months because their system was in error. It took months of calling and “trying”to get help. I had over $1000 beyond my deductible that came out of my purse, and now they took ALL of my overage, leaving no notes as to it’s whereabouts. Very bad organization. The one person who went above and beyond was Jabar, in Pharmacy. If not for him, I would be left out in the cold, WITHOUT A VOICE! The customer service ladies are not aware of anything but a script. To the point that they repeat the same information, and stop listening to the customer. It is clear, their English is not good, I had to “very simply” explain my situation again and again. So to end this note, because of BCBSTX system error, CSR’s who have difficulty understanding English and my being forced to pay full price for medications (rather than 30% Co-insurance after deductible), I am now at a loss of nearly $1000…with no one consenting, or explaining, why I will no longer receive reimbursement."
"Absolutely the worst insurance/pharmacy I have ever encountered. Our company decided to go cheap and we are feeling the effects. Medications are held till the last possible moment every time. When you call to find out why, nobody ever has an answer to ANYTHING! My wife takes an injection every 28 days and it has been on time twice in 9 months. Unacceptable. This review is for BCBS of Texas as whole, not this particular office, but I am sure it is no different. Terrible customer service, terrible pharmacy and just plain lousy insurance. All because my soon to be former company, needs to make MORE MONEY than they already do. Immoral is what it is"
