"We originally made an appointment because my 2018 Toyota TRD Off Road Premium was due for its 40,000 mile service. We'd bought the Toyota from, at the time, Fox Lake Toyota (now Toyota of Fox Lake) but over the last three years service has really gone downhill here). We were hoping for a much better experience at AutoNation Toyota Libertyville. We were instead disappointed. Although We had a noon appointment on Saturday 3/2, we waited in line 20 minutes to be checked in. We were told a 90 minute wait, so we went to sit in the showroom. About 90 minutes later we received a text informing us our vehicle was ready. We got our paperwork, went to the cashier to pay, and walked out to the garage to retrieve our vehicle. Garage staff took our paperwork to retrieve our vehicle for us, as it was not waiting. After about fifteen minutes we asked someone else for assistance, since nobody had gotten back to us or brought up our car. He finally came back and told us he wasn't sure why we were told our car was ready, as they were just putting oil in it. Obviously there is no communication in the service department. We sat down in the garage to wait for them to finish, and about 20 minutes after that the 4Runner was brought up for us. Except that the order said the vehicle should be washed, and it clearly wasn't. So someone else came up and took our car to the car wash. What should have been a simple oil change, tire rotation, and transmission fluid change took 2.5 hours. I feel like my time is more valuable than the treatment we received. While their staff at Libertyville was polite (unlike Fox Lake), it's clear that there is no communication in the service department. At this point, without a decent Toyota Service Department in Lake County, I think we've bought our last Toyota."

"It was a very disappointing maintenance visit in Feb, just a week ago. I went there for regular oil change, after check in, the advisor suggested tire rotation and alignment. after 1.5 hours, she said it was done, then mentioned another two services, change tires and rear break. When we discussed the price, she said have NOT done the rotation and alignment. Also when figuring out discount, just can not get the right final cost as she mentioned. As I saw time passed so much and only finished oil change, I decided not continuing, she asked me to wait and took care of another customer, then I waited another 20 minutes, finally had to ask manager to get bill and finished. It took me from 7:30 to 10:30 , just done with oil change. As I checked further, as a long time customer with maintenance in this location, in the pass three years, they did not do or suggested any alignment on my vehicle, that can be the reason the tires got such bad situation and need to replace. In past so many time visits, feel their services we’re getting worse. Not sure if this was due to Covid 19, so many techs left"
