"My wife and I have lived in SA since '05 and never taken the boat tour. So I took her for our 20th anniversary and it was great. Learned some facts about the buildings, enjoyed the boat handlers banter while he related historical tid bits, and enjoyed the view."
"We did a river tour on a very busy Saturday evening and it was fantastic. Our boat guide Captain Jerry was phenomenal. He knew so many interesting facts about the areas along the way, had such a fun and hilarious disposition, and had us laughing all along the way. The kids were even entertained with history! We had a large group with 5 families and kids. The barge easily accommodated our group in one trip. If you’re in SA and want to see the Riverwalk in a unique way and learn things along the way I highly recommend GoRio cruises. Worth every penny. Ask for Captain Jerry - he’s the absolute best!"
"Good experience. Visited on December 30 around 7 pm so it was full, we have to wait for about 45 minutes. We bought the City Pass but had to make the line for the tickets too, since you need physical tickets to get on board, which means I had to make two lines. Anyway, the experience was good, tour is about 30 minutes long, river walk had a lot of lights everywhere, we had beautiful views. Also they guide give us some good information about the river and its surroundings."
"It was fun learning some San Antonio history. The weekend was filled with rain and we finally found a small pocket of time that it stopped raining. Our guide was great. Everyone in our group enjoyed seeing the Riverwalk but also learning about it."
"Nice experience.. I visited here 2 times, one during public holiday last year and one during weekend recently. Both times I enjoyed the river cruises. The cost is worth. The guide of cruise is very good, he explained things very well with good jokes. The ambience around is very nice, the hotels and lights look good. The maintenance of river should be increased. Only thing I feel, winter is good for visit as in the summer it is bit suffocating down under. But everyone should give it a try."
