"Got my 50 dollar gift card no problems. Apparently people can’t read once you get the card you have to activate it to use it. Shout out to Kimberly for being super nice and helpful! My wife and I enjoyed our trip as well obviously nothing is entirely free we went to the presentation declined and got our trip no problems all we had to pay was taxes which was like 75 dollars total plus our 50 dollars deposit back."
"Scam!!!!!! I have attached screenshots of my gift instruction, the endless process and money that you will pay to get your FREE trip. They will try to make you sign up for a membership with them. They started with me $12 K until $4K for the membership , and thanks god i wasn’t stupid to believe them and signed. They will give you 100 offers and free trips just sign up with them right away. However, the free trips will be same long stupid endless process and money that you will pay to redeem"
"This is one of those “it’s not everyone’s cup of tea”. On that note, I heard about them at the Bridal Expo and we decided to give it a go. I mean who doesn’t want a “free” cruise! Our agents were amazing and very compassionate! After all the facts presented to us and the logics, we decided to sign up cause it was in our budget. Now if you think free is free it’s technically not (but what is free nowadays) so I see how people are getting disappointed. They presented us with a couple free vacations which is amazing! But yes, some airfare is not included or how to get to the destination/food/shopping etc and in some areas you only get a discount or your paying government taxes. Which btw it’s still way cheaper than booking on your own. so I see where people get confused. All and all they don’t try to sale you anything, if you don’t wanna sign up, then no worries. They don’t hassle you or try to sale you on buying and at the end you still get your $50 visa and a free trip! (Yes, the visa works. You just need to read the instructions. It’s common sense) BUT I will be updating my review once I book and take my vacation :)"
"SCAM! People please run before this company takes your money. They promise vacations including a gift card that is not an actual gift card and a $50 visa that does not work. They will make you sign a contract and grab the funds from your account. I have tried calling for over a month to get my gc and visa to work no luck after getting a hold of someone they couldn't help and also stated to be short staffed. They are not their to help just take your money. I will be walking in the office and I'll make sure the people in there walk away. All they do is copy and paste apologize, but never actually assist. Number never works."
"Global Exchange Vacation Club (GEVC) is a complete SCAM! Stay clear of this company. I wish I would’ve read these reviews ahead of time prior to putting my 50$ deposit down. I went to 4400 NW Loop 410, suite 101 to request my full refund of the deposit and explain I was no longer interested in this fake adventure. Upon request of the deposit to be refunded… I was told to receive my refund, I would have to fill out the exact paperwork that was already filled out at the San Antonio Zoo. The Zoo is where I received my quick overview of this adventure not realizing all the red flags at the time. Even if I did fill out the paperwork for the second time I would only receive a pre paid Visa card that may not work everywhere or at all. Ultimately Jerome and Adam Carroll were completely unprofessional and did not possess the customer service skills that would positively engage a lifetime customer. Their empathy, active listening, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving skill were sub-par to what a business should be ran as. Stay clear of this business if you favor your own money. The end-state was, I forced to file a police report/complaint."
