"This is not a knock on the service rep who helped me. Rather, it is a knock on Ford and Wickstrom. I have a 2020 Ford Explorer purchased new at Wickstrom. My most recent issue (there are others) stems from my driver’s window not working properly and the console monitor going black. These aren’t issues anyone should expect from a 3 year old vehicle with below average miles. I was told a window module had to be replaced and the monitor software required an update. $189 each. What kind of product is Ford making and Wickstrom selling? Is it acceptable for a 3 year old vehicle to have these types of issues? According to the service rep it happens all the time! That doesn’t instill confidence in me as a loyal Ford consumer. After 22 years of driving Fords I think it may be time to look elsewhere for my next vehicle."
