Kroger Pharmacy

"Wow. An senior in his 70s was denied a pain med tramidol have having a total hip replacement just 8 hrs earlier. He was prescribed by his orthopedic surgeon two pain meds with specific instructions on when yo take or not take as needed. He had never been on pain meds before. First walmart would only fill one and the other. So the doctor sent the tramidol to kroger for filling. They refused. This is crazy. He had the doctor instructions on use and never had problems prescribing both for pain management. This man had no record of pain pill use at all. This is totally wrong for a pharmacy to over ride a medical doctor who is a renound orthopedic surgeon at a hospital in the houston medical center. . So wrong. These pharmacy ppl should be held liable for pain and suffering. If a person can't control pain they can not heal properly. A pharmacist is not a doctor. There was no red flags on this elderly patient."

"They did not let me use good Rx, just because they think its already cheaper with my insurance. In the past i didnt have that issue using goodrx with on top of my insurance."

"Bradford makes this pharmacy the ONLY pharmacy that we will use. He is efficient, friendly and always remembers our names - and he always asks for our Kroger Plus number. Sure the pharmacy hours are poor (9 am - 9 pm) and yes I've caught them closing down 5-10 minutes early, but I rarely wait more than 5 minutes total and usually I'm out there in 2 minutes. Update: Still a great pharmacy even though Bradford is no longer here."

"I took my business here because Walmart was raking me across the coals BIG TIME!! I am a private pay individual, no medical insurance. I highly recommend this pharmacy to those in a similar situation, because you won't find better prices anywhere else! Also, the pharmacist helped us to find some added discounts that happened to be applicable to the medications I was purchasing! Very kind of them to do so! So many people in the world act aggravated by having to do their job; treating customers poorly...but not here! They not only do their job, but go above and beyond to treat customers with care & concern! A refreshing and comforting experience! A special thank you to the Kroger Pharmacy staff for excelling in this field! I highly recommend this pharmacy & will never go to a different one as long as I remain in Houston!"
