Schicker Ford of St. Louis Service Department

"My husband and I went here to get our ford edge fixed the heat was blowing cold on the driver side. Dave quoted us $486. We thought it was expensive but we needed the heat fixed since it’s December. He then calls back a few hours later and said “did you have someone else look at it first so my husband said yes. Then Dave starts saying oh they forgot to turn a switch back on and the heating coil was clogged and it will be $3000 to fix. So we decided against fixing it since the truck is a 2012 and it’s probably not worth the $3000 we would put into that. So we proceeded with picking up our car and Dave says it $487 and we were flabbergasted because we didn’t understand how is it still that price when you didn’t fix anything we needed. So Dave proceeded to say “oh well we had to fix something else in order to know that “we couldn’t fix the heating coil that will be $3000 to fix. While we were waiting on our car I was paying attention to the scam they were also commuting to a little old lady. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE IF YOU KNOW WHAT GOOD FOR YOU. You will be scammed in some kid of way here. They are making a living off of scamming people."

"I cannot say enough good things about the Schicker Ford Service Department. The people scheduled appointments are so polite and worked well around my schedule. Ron was my service manager, and he kept me informed, set expectations very well with me and answered my questions thoroughly. They are the only place I will take my car from now on. Highly recommend!"

"Absolutely horrific experience at the service department. Dave is dishonest and will not be transparent about what's going on. If he would have been honest from the beginning, then this review wouldn't be here. It took them 14 days to even touch our car (which happened to be a total loss) and he promised us a rental - which he couldn't make good on. Just overall terrible experience and won't ever use this business again."

"Got my air conditioner fixed through schicker and they got me in and out quick. They replaced the compressor and some other air conditioner parts as well. They quoted me 6 hours labor and that's almost exactly what it took dropped it off and the next day got my truck with ice cold AC. So excited I don't have to sweat it out this summer in my truck thanks guys. I highly recommend the service department and will definitely have them do any future work on my truck."
