"Have been eating here for several years and we always have great food, great service and I love their sweet wines! I’m a proud Wine Club member. We are huge fans of their St.Patrick’s and Oktoberfest menus!!!!"
"The ambience is wonderful. The servers and the owner the wine maker was there serving us wine . My favorite wine was the sweet dragon. I highly recommend you and your spouse stop by for a wine tasting."
"I really don’t even want to get into it but you’re better off at Olive Garden. Really that bad for the price. Frozen and then rehydrated pasta is what she the manager apologized for that was severely undercooked on a $27 seafood Alfredo dish with tiny overcooked scallops and undercooked pasta. Never, ever again. The wood fired pizza was pretty good after they made it right the second time but nothing better than your standard wood fired Mod Pizza in a strip mall. I’m not comparing your restaurant to the Olive Garden, just telling future customers to go there instead. It’s not even fair to compare your restaurant to something like a Francesca’s, any of their locations because your food and service isn’t in the same league. Then the audacity for you to try and defend it. Just own it and say, I’m sorry about your bad experience, we are taking measures to fix the issue. Scratch kitchen? Why don’t you guys just make your own fresh pasta in-house instead of importing it. Or find someone that knows how to cook the noodles. The other sad thing is the waitress blamed the pizza cooks for missing an ingredient on the first pizza, she said I put it on the ticket, I’ll have them make another one. Checked the receipt when I got home and the third ingredient wasn’t on there. Whoever is running this place is setting the accountability example and they just don’t have any. Just read the unprofessional replies from whoever is running this place and that should fill you in. By far the best thing about this place was there was no wait to sit down to eat on a Friday night at dinner time. That should have threw up a red flag. Now we know why. If you want a meal with great service that matches the price of the menu, go to one of the Francesca’s restaurants. If you’re thinking about trying this place you’re better off eating the frozen section food at Olive Garden. Keep up the good work, I’m sure everyone is wrong about their bad experiences at your scratch kitchen restaurant and that’s why your rating is so low. I will definitely share my experience. I’m sorry if it hurts your business but you only have yourself to blame for that sinking ship."
"Village Vitner is a very nice place for dinner or social gatherings! We had the Schaumburg Wine Meetup group attend on a Thursday evening and had a fabulous time! The manager, Janet, was very accommodating and service was very good. We had teriyaki Brussels sprouts and a wood fire pizza with their cabernet saugivnon. Delicious! The facilities are well-maintained. Prices are a little on the higher end, but expected for this area. I expect this will become a go-to place for me as well as the wine group. I was very impressed!"
"My wife and I went to this restaurant with a few of our friends a couple Fridays ago during the bad storms. I have to say that this place is the perfect place for adults who want to have some drinks, watch sports, and eat good food, while enjoying a conversation without a lot of loud noise. When entering the restaurant, we were immediately greeted and seated since we had a reservation. It was very clean inside and not very empty. Our waitress came and waited on us not too long after being seated and brought us our drinks. My wife and I ordered the Burrata for our appetizer and our friends ordered the spinach and artichoke dip. Both appetizers were really good. For the main course meal, my wife ordered the fish special and the rest of us ordered the Bistro Medallions with the garlic parmesan topping. The steak medallions came out hot, fresh and made to order. My wife really liked the fish special. Overall the food was very good. There are a few things that I didn't enjoy very much, which is why I took off a star. They are minor items, but can be a deal breaker to some. 1. The Burrata appetizer was $15.99 and way too expensive for the small serving size that came to the table. I feel this is perfect for one person to eat. 2. The garlic parmesan topping on the steak medallions didn't have much flavor. If you had the topping at Longhorn, then this isn't even a comparable topping. The steak was delicious though. 3. There were several times during our dinner that the waitress would not come back to the table to check up on us. We waited a good ten minutes after we finished our appetizer before our dinner order was taken. Our check took way too long to be brought to us. The waitress did a very good job overall and went above and beyond when she did some to the table."
