"On a motorcycle trip heading across the state of Illinois along The Illinois river over to the Mississippi river for a weekend barhop. stopped in here to get something to eat for dinner and to let the rain pass. First thought the place is very clean, cool tavern atmosphere and they have a nice menu, they have a little pool hall, a slot game room, dartboard and pro golf. We ordered the nachos they were good but we would have definitely ordered them without the purple onions because there was no shortage of them on the nachos. After leaving Ziggys my girlfriend and I both agreed that because we weren’t local or regulars it seemed as if we were an inconvenience. I’m sure it wasn’t meant to be like that but that’s how it was and that was our experience. the gentleman next to us was also on a motorcycle stop to slide out of the rain and it seemed to us he felt the same way. Im sure Ziggys is a Good Tavern but for me and my Girl it will be written up as a good once in a life time stop."
