"We sat waiting for almost an hour, lightly packed. Bartenders didn't acknowledge us until 25 minutes after we arrived. People who called and who came in and ordered after us got their food first. All that was in our order were 2 orders of chili cheese fries to go."

"Your classic dive bar restaurant- delicious food, kind people, but slow service. We waited over 30 minutes for two burgers in a not busy restaurant (2 other tables - 1 already had eaten). You can order ahead or order to-go, which I highly recommend if you’re looking for a quick stop on your travels. Also, it is cash only, but they do have an ATM. Food was 5/5, but unexpectedly slow service dropped it a star."

"Nothing like visiting the local tavern where everyone goes in a town of only 500 people. It was packed. The waitress was great and the food was better than expected. My wife got a burger, said it was one of the best burgers she's ever had. Apparently the beef was ground fresh the same day. I got a bacon chicken wrap and fried green beans. They were also great and I highly recommend them. If you can stop here for a bite I highly recommend it! (Not just because the town is named after me.)"

"Went here after my son's baseball game . Nkt sure how late the kitchen is open normally but we got there around 9 . The lady said she would she still cook for us . I had the double burger and it was fantastic. Will definitely be back"

"I loved the atmosphere and friendly vibe at this locally-owned tavern. We stopped off the highway to grab a beer and it was the perfect spot. Its off of a scenic country road in a small community and they have pool tables and slots inside. After chatting with some people at the bar, we learned that this place has been family owned for the past 40 years! Friendly people and good beer. My only complaint is that I'd like to see a wider selection of beer, and I wish we'd been hungry enough to try the steak sandwich that was recommended to us."
