"The pharmacy has HORRIBLE staffing issues! I sometimes am on hold on the phone waiting for a human to answer. You wait and wait and wait while it rings and then is answered and you are immediately placed on hold (without them even saying anything) THEN on hold again, rings, answered and immediately put on hold again (without them saying anything), over and over and over. Then you are answered and they HANG UP ON YOU WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING. I’m really angry about the constant poor service due to poor staffing. Ugh!"

"My boyfriend and I went here for drive through COVID-19 testing since it’s one of the few free in-person testing options that Hawaii accepts for travel. We were shocked when he received a positive test result considering we have been vaccinated and have continued wearing masks/social distancing, so we made an appointment the following day at the same location to get a re-test. We had the email confirming the appointment but apparently he wasn’t on their schedule when we got there and they “didn’t have the form for him”. They told us there was nothing we could do and would have to come back the next day. What?? At 6pm the evening earlier they had open testing appointment times all day that day. We were persistent enough I guess because finally she (wish I had gotten her name) and another pharmacist, maybe the manager, threw a test in the drawer which she shoved out at us in obvious annoyance. Honestly, I was a little worried they were going to tamper with the test to make sure it came out positive again based on how angry they seemed. An hour later we get a call where they basically say there’s another person in the system with the same name as my boyfriend and that’s why they had issues with getting him scheduled. Plus, there was a chance his test results were somehow mixed up with that person’s! They said they would call the testing company to figure this out, but they never did. We could tell they just wanted us to go away and we never even found out what the results of his test were. We did end up scheduling a third test for the following day, but we made sure to do it at another location. The pharmacists there were far more professional and friendly than the ones at this location. Only 45 minutes after testing, we got his results and they were NEGATIVE. We did an additional rapid test at a separate clinic just to confirm this and it was also negative. So, the first test was a false positive. We almost had to cancel the entire trip due to the dysfunction at this location. I understand this could have been the fault of the testing company and the testing system, but the customer service made everything a million times worse. Long story short: if you want reliable testing, especially for travel where there is a strict time constraint, don’t go here."

"If I had to pick up life saving medication from this location, I wouldn’t go. This place is RIDICULOUS. I dread coming here every month, they are slow like a crockpot. Love Walgreens but not this one."

"Do not use this location for rapid C-19 testing, if you want your results in a timely fashion. Use only if you want your vacation ruined."
