Reviews of Encore Pharmacy
"Miscounts pills. Horrible with keeping up with your prescription. They do a lazy job of getting their job done."
"Great interaction with a Mary there. She went above and beyond to help me get my medicine in order...been going here since!!"
"Forced to use this pharmacy for a super critical prescription and they make it as difficult as possible for me to get my refills. I called to order a refill on Tuesday. They were supposed to overnight it to me with Fedex on Wednesday and I'd receive it on Thursday. When I didn't receive it on Thursday, I called to check on it and was told it was going to arrive Friday. I asked why it didn't go out on Wednesday like it was supposed to and the woman got a condescending tone in her voice and said "I don't know who you talked to, but it's being delivered Friday" and I again asked why it didn't go out on Wednesday and she said "Once it's with Fedex, it's out of our hands" to which I replied "So, you're saying it did go out on Wednesday?" and she said YES. This morning (Friday) I get a tracking number from Encore that shows the shipping label was created 4 minutes after I called them yesterday, so she just flat out lied to me. I called them today to ask what happened/ to address that and the same woman answered. When I gave her my name, she told me the computer was being slow and put me on hold. For 8 minutes. Then told me they were having server problems, and put me back on hold. I was on hold for a total of over 15 minutes. When she finally got back on the phone with me, and I explained why I was calling, she tried to tell me that their system works in a way where Fedex already has the packages before the label is created, and that her Packer isn't in until next week so she can't explain what went wrong. I'm actually not a moron and I've worked in corporate shipping and you can't give a package to Fedex without a label on it. You also can't print a label that doesn't exist in the Fedex system until over a day later. Even if somehow that WERE possible, it wouldn't happen 4 minutes after I call to see why I didn't get my prescription. Not sure why lies were necessary, they could just admit they screwed up (it would not be the first time they've messed up me getting my meds on time) but it's astonishingly horrible customer service and also just.... insane... to gaslight someone instead of just admitting someone at the pharmacy dropped the ball."
"I cannot outline how disappointed I have been with this pharmacy and their mail order service. I am forced to use them for my mail order prescription. From the beginning, my entire prescription schedule has been ignored by them, the transition into their network was poor, they do not contact you regularly to confirm delivery of your prescription, and their mail order service is complete garbage. I always give company leeway when it comes to transitioning a patient and on-boarding. However, the nightmare I experienced with the onboarding process continued right into the delivery. I had to call them to remind them that I was missing my prescription, only to be told that the prescription was not authorized, which is foolishness given the length of time I have been receiving it from them. After they fixed the issue on their back end, they then messed up the billing. When it came time to ship my meds, you would think someone would use their commonsense and realize that they are in Texas and I am in the northeast. Why would you ship important meds by the slowest USPS option possible? I am now missing my meds as they won't be delivered until I am out of the country on business. Mind you, they stupid text message and links told me the med would have been delivered 3 days ago. Instead, they mailed the meds out 3 days ago and selected the slowest USPS option to get it here. I am disgusted by their service and the level of foolishness I have had to endure by utilizing them. Since I have been forced to use them, I don't think I received my prescription ONCE on time, on my normal schedule. Now I am running out of meds and will be out of the country for a week. Luckily, my doctor was able to assist (which, I don't think they were technically supposed to do, but they understood my situation). This mail order pharmacy is complete garbage. I wish I could give them ZERO stars!!"
"I am absolutely blown away by the above and beyond customer service at Recept Pharmacy, St Louis Ave location. My medications were to be delivered today and for whatever reason they weren't. I contacted their CS on FB, even though I knew everything was closed, not complaining, definitely not expecting an immediate reply, just wanting info about who to contact to find my order and get it to me. I was surprised when they responded to me, and I was blown away when they called at 8.30 pm, and really blown away with shock when they told me they would have the order here within the hour. I said I could wait until tomorrow, but they wouldn't hear of it. From their sweetheart delivery guy, to Karen and the nice professional (I'm so sorry I didn't get your name) manning FB messages, I am absolutely impressed and I cannot thank you enough. I've never, and I mean never experienced customer service this outstanding. Thank you so much."
