"Went into Hy-Vee yesterday to get a couple of things and stopped at the bakery to grab the kiddos a couple of sweets and the woman who waited on me, Sabrina was rude as hell. Sorry she must of been having a bad day or whatever her problem was, but throwing all of the donuts into one bag with no wax papers in between left quite the mess and werent even appealing to the kiddos all smashed together; made it even more of an unpleasant experience. Pretty sad when one person having a bad day and being unnecessarily rude can have such a domino effect on others"

"Not only are their cakes delicious, their customer service is top notch. I called last minute to see if I could get a cake delivered the same day. Despite being slammed due to the holiday season they squeezed my order in. I had no specific instructions just a plain cake with a few simple words but they took it upon themselves to decorate it. It was so cute and they had it delivered within a few hours of my call. Much appreciated Hy-vee Bakery. You did an exceptional job! Thank you!"

"They offer a cash gas discount of $.03 a gallon if you pay in cash, except when you pre pay. Other than that the food is so-so if it’s not stale. Friendly workers who are usually smiling."
