"First time in here! Great organic products! Loved that you van buy some items in bulk!"
"I've been getting a good deal of my food from the coop over the past few years since it's been around. I've always appreciated the knowledgeable and helpful people there, and the fact that they try to provide things that their customers ask for, and increase their offerings. I've also never been disappointed in anything I have bought there. I believe in supporting local farmers and I feel that the coop does a good job promoting them. Good food may be a little pricier, but I do believe when it comes to food you get what you pay for. Also, it is worth it to me knowing my money helps growers get a good return on their investment, rather than going to slick marketing campaigns and executives in the retail grocery industry. Full disclosure: I own a share or two of the co-op, but I have never received any compensation or dividends. People working at the co-op are volunteers, not paid staff. Like the other owners, I decided I wanted to help launch it because I believe in it, not because I'm interested in making money off of it. It's not a major money-making venture in this community; it has stiff competition with the larger groceries here, and is trying to hold its own in a tough market. But none of those other places source a significant amount of local produce. That's my take, and my "angle," if you will. I just wanted to be honest about it."
"Nice place was there working on their furnace, but would like to go back on my own time, and look around from what I could see they have herbs, spices, honey, meat, vegetables socks, and other clothing made from renewable sources"
"Great shop with lots of variety and quality vendors and employees!! Emphasis on locally sourced produce and handcrafted soaps, lotions and other wonderful items. Nothing like it in the area. Organic? They have it! Grass fed beef?/its there too!"
"Great little store with a lot to offer, they have new products each time we go in. The prices are competitive but their products are far superior. We love the bulk foods and local (organic, grass fed, non gmo, etc) meats they offer. All of the employees we have met are more than helpful and very nice (also great with my kids).I hope they continue to offer more local foods. I do wish they had more advertising"
