Humble Care: Urgent Care and Weight loss Clinic

"Went in for pain and soon as I walked in I was greeted by Denise. NP Mrs. Mallari , she even greeted me before being seen while shortly waiting in waiting area, she was awesome! She did a very thorough exam. I was very well pleased with both their bed side manner & professionalism. I appreciate their patience with me as well. I definitely recommend. Office Also was clean and smelled good in office ☺️"

"As a former Emergency Room nurse at a major hospital, I am always skeptical of ER visits, for anything but TRUE emergencies. If you’re not dying don’t waste your time. I also revive the bulk of my care through the VA at DeBakey which means ALLLLLL day waits for anything not scheduled months in advance. When I stepped on broken glass last week I tried to get it out with tweezers and when I picked glass out I thought I was good. A couple of days later I realized I was not and shaved it down with a razor and got more out BUT THERE WAS STILL GLASS INSIDE! Not willing to go to either the ER or the VA I decided to go to the closest urgent care that hadn’t disappointed me before. I saw the 5 star reviews for Humble Care and was skeptical but my foot had become swollen and I needed to get the glass out before it got infected. When I walked in there was a couple paying for their care but it was otherwise empty. After they left I was checked in and shown straight back!! Immediately. Unheard of in any other urgent care facility I have been to. I forgot hey would just leave me to wait in the room rather than the waiting area, but I was wrong. They took my vitals and relevant medical history and the NP came to my room less than 5 minutes later. After discussing my chief complaint, she did a physical examination of my foot, and discussed my symptoms and allergies. We came up with a game plan to get the glass out and she was back with all supplies in less than 10 minutes. I have been there for no more than 20 minutes at this point—at the VA I wouldn’t even have been done checking in. She disinfected the area, gave me lidocaine injections and worked the area free of all the glass (turned out to be more than one piece) and gave me an antibiotic shot to prevent infection. MY ENTIRE VISIT WAS LESS THAN $200 DOLLARS! No insurance! I am writing this review in the parking lot because I am so happy with my care. If I find myself needing an urgent care facility in the future, I know exactly where I will go. If you are dying, go to the ER, for everything else, come see Humble Care. Highly recommend!"

"Wow! This place makes it so worth it to pay the high taxes in the area alone. Extremely beautiful atmosphere. A beautiful spirit of excellence the staff has. I was seeing so quickly immediately. And the look of concern in the doctor's eyes towards me. Immediately made me feel better. Also be immediate scolding I received towards my health as well. It made me feel so good to know someone still has excellent bedside manners and cares about their patients. Should I ever not feel well again, this will be the first place I go to immediately. Extremely clean. A little bit hidden area. But I was so glad I googled and stumbled upon it. I wish I could give it 10 stars"

"Wow! I am so impressed with this clinic! Dr. Mallare and her staff are so friendly. They were taking walk in appointments and I needed one last minute. I didn’t wait long and the office is so clean! They take a lot of different insurances. Dr. Mallare was very thorough and very easy to talk to. I didn’t feel rushed and she answered all of my questions. I had a thorough exam and she was gentle. I am so grateful to be seen today and got the help I needed. Definitely worth checking out if you are looking for a doctor!!"
