"Did not have a red button up dress shirt with a 20 neck. The employee was nice enough to check the other stores. However there was not one in illinois."
"I've seen a few other negative reviews for this store, and I can understand why. It's not the quality of the merchandise, nor do I think it's specifically the sales staff (Billy tried to help me!). I think this store lacks management that upholds the standards of the Men's Wearhouse Brand and their holding company, Tailored Brands. Long story, short....MW fitted my son for a shirt, then the salesclerk sold him the wrong-size shirt. As he was headed out of town for his sister's wedding, he made the mistake of trusting the store and headed out of town with his purchase. He never took the shirt out of the bag again until he was getting ready for the wedding. To summarize, the store ADMITTED to the mistake (we have all receipts and notes with his correct sizing and the size of the shirt they gave him), but due to the fact that the shirt was worn (He had no choice at that point - out of town, day of wedding so had to make the best of it), they will not replace it. Again, the salesperson (Billy), was respectful and attempted to help me. The assistant manager would not come speak with me as he/she "was at lunch" in the back room. All we wanted was to actually own the shirt he thought he had purchased. My husband and son, along with other family members, have been longtime customers of MW. We will not (at least not THIS LOCATION) moving forward. I have since reached out to corporate MW as well as the President and Co-CEOs of Tailored Brands. I have sent them a detailed letter, along with copies of all receipts, measurement details, and photographs. I'm sure they would not want situations like these to be a reflection of an otherwise good organization with high values: CUSTOMER-FIRST We put customers at the center of every decision. BETTER EVERY DAY We strive for excellence and continuous improvement. ACT WITH INTEGRITY We show up with courage to always do the right thing."
"Horrible experience buying my husbands suit for our daughters wedding! Price too high, leaving store, the salesman told us if we bought there he would wave any alteration charges! period. Alterations were supposed to be same day. 2 days later suit delayed in FL. They took jacket and pants from showroom rack to alter. Another 2 days later we got charged $110 when we picked up the day before the wedding! The mgr was confused and rude. She said the salesman told us there would be no charge "that day" but we would have to pay upon pickup. Untrue, That was not what he told us! I suggest if you go here, get everything in WRITING! Check it all over well in advance as the alterations were terrible too! A 6" high hem?? and the threads pulled too tight and showed on his pant legs! Huge disappointment!! Had to pay dry cleaners to fix the alterations now too! We will never return there again!! I've been in Customer Service for over 30 yrs. and have never been treated so poorly. They do NOT stand behind their name or slogan. ***** UPDATE**** I received a reply below asking me to email them so that they could provide a "resolution" for our bad experience. I emailed them & after several emails back and forth, their idea of a resolution, was NOT to refund the $110 for the Horrible alterations (that were verbally promised to us at NO CHARGE) but instead Sharon apologized and offered us a $100 certificate to be used online or at their store! As if we would ever go back THERE again! I suggest if you decide to go there, get the costs of EVERYTHING in WRITING, keep detailed notes with dates of their promises and be sure to go months ahead of event so you have time to fix problems before your event. We finally got his suit the day before the wedding with NO time to fix it before the wedding or go elsewhere. MW Listens, but they don't resolve the issues. *****FINAL UPDATE***** They reached out to me again and sent me a check for the refund of the alteration charges. So I feel that corrected the situation. Wish it never went that far and things went smoothly to begin with but at least they made things right."
"I usually bought it in this store online. However today I decided to go to the store because I have an interview tomorrow, The salesman (male guy, he didn't want to share his name with me) provided me the worstexperiencein my life, treated me in a humiliating and discriminatory way, the first thing he did was give me the price when I didn't ask him because he thought that I couldn't buy a $65 shirt then he wanted to force me to buy a size 4X shirt when my size is 2X and I know this because I normally buy there online, when I told him that it wasn't my size he insisted that it was the one I should buy and I asked him to measure it and he did not allow me to measure it, responding rudely and decrimatically."
"My experience with Xoch was spectacular. Came in last minute for a shirt for a wedding. Measured it perfectly and went the extra mile to even press it fit as I was cut for time. Refreshing to see customer service still exists"
