"Do you think incompetent and deceptive should be good adjectives for your auto maintenance? Well if so, this is the place for you. I brought my car in for a broken hood latch. Meanwhile, I noticed a leak in my transfer case that needed to be addressed. I asked if that's something they could handle and they said yes. They gave me my car back after 2 days and within a few minutes I knew the repair was not right based on the volume of trans fluid on my driveway. The following morning I brought it back and within a few hours, the manager told me they needed to replace a different seal that wasn't replaced already and they had to wait to receive one because they were on back order. I found one myself and had it overnight shipped and it was installed. While this was all going on I had them warranty a repair they did last May for a broken hvac issue. They replaced the part and returned it to me, guess what, nothing was fixed! Still leaking, still no hvac repair. Give it back again, the manager says they have a guy who works at the other location that can figure it out.... Reasonable people would believe that special mechanic would be coming out to your car in crest hill.... Nooooo they drive my car to 54th and Ashland in Chicago in a bad neighborhood and this guy needs ito rewire the prior repair apparently. All this in Chicago being done without my OK. So finally my car gets back at 245 after I was told it would be back by lunch time and what do you know.... Leaking fluid! This place is a nightmare. None of their repairs were done adequately without having to bring it back several times to have it corrected. This place is a waste of time and money! Pay alittle more and take it to a reputable repair place. You won't be happy here! Your repair will come back more broke than when you dropped it off Oh yes I'm missing valve stem caps... No big deal but the owner insists he didn't touch my tires..... They literally replaced my TPMS(tire pressure monitor system) sensors How the hell does one replace tire pressure sensors without touching the tire? This place is just a scam....take my word so you don't have to."

"Had an issue with my rim. Went to these guys to see if they could repair it. I was informed that not only were they unwilling to fix it, but they wanted me to buy a new rim and tire. I was told if I was not willing to purchase the tire and rim combo from them, then I would have to take me business elsewhere. I gladly did and found an excellent company that not only charged me 150 for the repair, but came to my home to do it. Never going to firestone again. Ever."

"Had to get my husbands car towed after it stalled on him. We had it towed to Weber Swift Car Care. We knew we neglected some maintenance on it, they were very thorough in explaining any and all issues, most of which we knew was wrong. Everything was fixed in a timely manner and my husbands ‘07 Cadillac runs like brand new. We are so happy to have found an honest shop with courteous staff. Highly recommend!"

"Be careful taking your car here... Visited back in June 2020 for an Alignment. Next day ABS light and Traction Control light comes on and I bring it back. Mechanic looks at it, swaps my front tires to the other sides and tells me its my wheel speed sensor. (He wasn't kidding, It sure was!) He then told me the wheel speed sensor is integrated into the wheel hub assembly (it is not, and was easy to swap out) and i have to buy a wheel hub assembly. Quotes me $400-500 for a lifetime warranty part. I tell them no and leave. Finally got around to doing the job myself to save money, and I ended up returning the wheel hub assembly I bought based on their advice. After I took the wheel off and found my wheel speed sensor severed cleanly right above the rotor it was clear i did not need a wheel hub assembly.(see attached photos) It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see this clear as day, the cut looks intentional. It is a very clean cut. And the mechanic would have easily seen this cut with the wheel off while he was inspecting it and swapping the wheels. I mean thats the first thing I saw and I am just a DYI homeowner. I hate to write a bad review but this is scary. I will never be back to this shop. They have lost my business permanently. And I would advise you to think twice before you bring your car here. I have no idea how they have such high reviews. The only thing i can think of is they are just taking advantage of people who dont know any better. It's too bad because the service was good and they were friendly, but this is not the way to do business... Definitely not an honest mechanic shop. Beware!!!"
