"I walked in about 30mins before closing and was greeted. I ordered the jerk salmon and Mac and cheese and cabbage. The restaurant was nice and clean inside and they were playing that good R&B music like Summer Walker and Ari Lennox, lol. My salmon was pretty tender and the jerk sauce complimented the Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was good, it has a very cheddar taste. The cabbage wasn’t my favorite, it lacked flavor. I wouldn’t order cabbage again. Overall, I’d come back but the prices were a little steep. I think I spent around $28 for a salmon meal with two sides."
"I will start this review with the caveat that on this particular evening the Macaroni and Cheese was very thin and soupy. Upon it coming out, the lady behind the counter began to stir it and we both noticed it immediately, then both looked at each other. We both understood it wasn't supposed to be that way, we both exchanged smiles about it, and she joked, "it's still good though!" Now, let me start with the egg rolls which literally could've been a meal by themselves because of how massive they were. These are not your run of the mill sized egg rolls, and understand that just 2, would be enough to satisfy as a stand alone meal. Loved the cheese pull on them. The shrimp tacos were good, I would've liked more Jerk sauce cooked on them, instead of me needing to add to them. The Catfish was more grilled than the fried I ordered, but the onion medley served on top more than made up for that with the flavor burst out gave each bite. The Cabbage was not bland, the red beans and rice was hidden under the Catfish which gave added flavor, but I'll have to go again for the Mac and cheese, as that night was a miss for me."
"The moment I walked in, I received a warm greetings. I love hospitality! I was an hour from home and looked up jerk chicken on maps, for the ride back. I was so happy to hear this placed just opened this March. I pray they do very well. Food: I went on a Sunday afternoon with my daughter. I ordered the Jerk dark 1/2, with jeek sauce, with macaroni and cheese, red beans and rice with gravy and cabbage! Each ingredient was Bursting with flavor! Oh and a side a fries! All fries are NOT created equal. Not all fries are good, but THESE. YES MA'AM! Perfect macaroni and cheese; noodles not over cooked. Same for rice, not over cooked. The moment I walked out I realized I should have added yams (and I don't like yams lol). Ambiance / atmosphere: The place is clean, beautiful colors. Large screens show the menu. They also cater. Beautiful pictures and the menu and food. All the food is already cooked ahead of time. Gives a buffet vibe. This speaks volume about the cook and how the food keeps warm and doesn't continue to cook at the same time. Wow! Meets are placed on your plate last from the kitchen. I love thus place. Seating: There are high seats with tables in the entrance and booths that spread to the back. So cute!! I keep wait to go back. You need to go here!"
