"The weekend quesabirria is what got me hooked! If you're ordering for pickup, online doesn't give you the option so call. All the other tacos I've tried are also delicious. It's a small location, so be prepared not to dine in. When weather is good they have tables outside."

"Great and amazing things come in small packages and La Plancha Loca is a perfect example of this saying. The place is small but very bright, the smells of the food that roam the air make your mouth water. The friendliness of the staff makes you feel genuinely welcomed. The food is unbelievably delicious, don't just take my word. The amount of people you see gather inside and outside will confirm how much people enjoy the food. Everything is fresh, the portions are extremely generous. The salsas are out of this world. I am very picky about Mexican food; I have lived in the NorthShore all my life and have never found a decent place to eat Mexican food. I have become a regular customer from the first day I stepped foot in their door. The food has become a regular stapple in my home. They also have the BEST "Taco Tuesday" deals anywhere!"

"We were driving through the area and we just tried the tacos here out of curiosity. We did not see this coming honestly! They have their al pastor very visibly on display in the prep area and it’s the fist thing you see when you enter this little shack, such an iconic little move! Make sure to try the tacos de plancha shrimp and tacos de volcan is you feel adventurous. I consider myself a taco de lengua critic (lol) and theirs placed in my top 3 lengua list real quick! The al pastor is very pineapple-y and very sweet, I love a good sweet spicy combo so I loved it. The asada, arrachera and the michelada and horchata are pretty good too. They also serve modelos, pasificos and victorias. Don’t miss out on this place if you come around the area."

"When I think what to say about my experience in this restaurant, the only words that come to my mind are: What a place ! If you are a truly "mexican food" lover, this is the place, believe me, the only issue is that you need to be patience, it is a busy place. The tacos (Pastor, Fish, Volcvan, Quezabirria) were delicious! Everything was so tasty. Strongly recommended!"
