"The soups were unexpectedly great! Massive chunks of clam in the clamp chowder, and robust earthy minestrone. The chopped salad was well appointed, however the house salad lacked creativity and was a disappointment for the price. The red wine vinegarette dressing went a long way to make up for that, but it was still underwhelming."

The salads, soups are also delicious as we have catered from Sonny’s before for a party, does not disappoint dine in or dine out. 5-stars."

"You gotta be kidding me. I didn’t know places like this still existed. No nonsense, quick, incredible food at reasonable prices. The Italian sausage with hot pep was the best I’ve ever had, the pasta was great, and the Italian beef was on point. The inside is spotless and the guys behind the counter know how to run a kitchen. This is my “spot” in Park Ridge now."

"I got the meat rigatoni and my boyfriend got the beef. The rigatoni is very flavorful and the value for a large is amazing. My boyfriend said this is the best beef he has ever had. We also got a New York style pizza to share and it was one of the best we had. Can’t recommend this place enough. We will be back"

"Ordered the veggie and sonny special pan pizzas. First time eating here so we didn’t know what to expect but it was absolutely delicious. Fresh taste and just the right amount of crust, cheese, and toppings. Extremely reasonably priced given the portion sizes. Everyone working there was kind and polite. Will definitely be back."
