"We were introduced to Portillo's in 2020. Our first time visiting Chicago. We make it a point to go every time we visit now. The Portillo's Dog (aka Chicago Dog) is a family favorite. They put all sorts of toppings like tomato, a pickle spear, sport peppers, and more on top of an all beef hot dog wrapped in a steamed poppy seed roll. It's amazing! The Maxwell Street Polish is another favorite. A smoked Polish kielbasa covered with grilled onions and mustard. DELICIOUS! Lastly, their homemade chocolate cake is decadent. Moist and full of rich chocolate flavor. Make sure you try a slice if you like chocolate cake."

"Fantastic experience at Portillo's! The hot dogs and chicken fingers were deliciously satisfying, especially the chicken with its crispy perfection. Don't forget to request well-cooked fries if you prefer them also crispy! The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. A must-visit for great fast food and excellent service!"

"Portillos never disappoint you. Been to alot of portillos restaurants. And they always have same taste of their food. I love the italian beef, onion rings, fries hotdog. Staffs in this place are nice and welcoming. Nice ambiance too and as usual the vintage items collections displayed everywhere inside the restaurant. Love this place."

"I don’t usually eat out with my family but I’ve gone to Portillo’s about 5 so far last year and this year for post- band concert and school graduation and the it’s about 5 people so the price is usually $60-$70 which isn’t too bad but the food is so good I get two breaded chicken sandwiches large cheese fries and a large Diet Coke and the food is so good it makes me say “HOORAY” and jump at least 3,000 feet in the air while doing an Irish jig honestly at this point I should just get a portillos gift card cuz my love for it is unbelievable (please!!!) also the cheese fries are so good! And an absolute must also the cheese fries are an absolute must!!!"
