Yu's Mandarin

"Nice to see Yu's took over previous Chinese restaurant, Golden Chef! Golden Chef was great but so is Yu's. Quality and service consistent with Schaumburg location, and also have a nice window view of the all behind-the-scenes of the kitchen and cooking. Venue is nice and clean but the seating/table situation to maximize space can be a bit better. Pictured here is their Hot & Sour Soup - if you don't like peppery, pass this up and grab an Egg Drop Soup, Wonton Soup, or for a serving for two, order the Crab & Velvet Corn Soup; Crab Rangoon; Orange Chicken; and Singapore Rice Noodles - tasty but was a bit oily. Didn't order their popular Lollipop Chicken Wings this time around, but definitely will next time."

"Unfortunately, the servings portion were not consistent. The Scallop with Beef and Vegetables dish was too small (very delicious) compared to the other two dishes that ordered: Pork with Bean Curd & Green Leek (not a fan, didn't taste anything special); Fish Casserole (it was good). Very disappointing with the small portion of the scallop with Beef and Vegetables dish!"

"A Perfect Dining Experience at Yu's! I recently dined at Yu's and it was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped in, the atmosphere was vibrant with an infectious buzz of energy. The service was impeccable, with any minor mistakes being promptly corrected, making me feel genuinely cared for. Our server was outstanding, not only for their efficiency but also for their fantastic sense of humor, which added a delightful personal touch to the experience. As for the food, I opted for the noodle soup and it was a bowl of sheer comfort. The warmth and just the right level of spiciness were a match made in culinary heaven. The portion was so generous that I had enough to take home for leftovers, which was an unexpected bonus! I can't wait to return to Yu's for another memorable meal. This restaurant has truly won me over, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a fantastic dining experience"

"We've been looking for a great Chinese restaurant in the area. As native Chinese, I'm picky about Chinese food. I was a bit wary since the reviews are mixed but decided to go since the food photos online look good. My husband and I went for lunch on a Sunday. We like the clean place, the traditional Chinese restaurant atmosphere and large window showing the chefs in the kitchen. We tried the egg rolls, spicy soup noodle (noodles hand pulled by the chefs), flat noodle with beef, and string beans. All the delicious we ordered were delicious. If you like spicy food, be sure to ask for their chilly sauce! Our waitress was very friendly and helpful too. We're glad to have found this Chinese restaurant and will definitely go back for take-outs and dining in."

"Decent place. Crab Rangoon’s seemed old and cold. The chicken wings/pops were hot and fresh but had a greasy aftertaste, which made them unpleasant to eat. The seafood platter dish was yummy."
