"Really like the dining atmosphere. Good service. Their live seafood is very fresh. Will return to try more dishes. There are many different dishes. Some are much better than others. From the dishes I tried, I recommend the siu mai, both types of egg tarts, coconut milk red bean pudding, dried scallop egg white fried rice, salt and pepper smelt, live oysters steamed with black bean sauce, and live dungeness crab cooked with salty egg yolk. Will update as I discover more good dishes to experience."
"Update: 1/28/24 We came back to try some of their dim sum items as well as other dishes. This place is busier on Sundays which is good. Parking was still easy. Restaurant was busy but we didn’t have to wait for a table. Service in the beginning to the middle was excellent but started to taper off. Our waitress disappeared towards the end when we needed boxes and the check. I’ll have to take off a star for that. Food was still exceptional. Dim sum prices cost more than usual. -siu mai 5 - meat was beautifully cooked. Add a little bit of chili paste. You’ll have a mouthful of savory, juicy goodness. -shrimp dumpling 5 - nice, big chunks of shrimp. They were very juicy when biting into them. -beef honeycomb (tripe) 5 - soft, chewy, easy to swallow. Make sure you eat this over a bed of rice. -green onion pork bun 5 - bread was soft and easy to rip apart. Pork and onion were masterfully steamed. -baked creamy egg yolk bun 5 - these come piping hot. If you bite too quickly, you’ll burn your mouth. Otherwise, you’ll be treated to a forkful of yummy, smooth egg yolk. -stir fried sticky rice 5 - slightly oily, best if used in conjunction with white rice. Plentiful amount of meat. Rice was not too salty. -black pepper with mushroom beef tenderloin 5 - beef was very tender and succulent. Big pieces of mushrooms. Mushrooms were flavorsome. I definitely wouldn’t trust these 1 star reviews. There are always wannabe trolls. You can learn a lot about a reviewer by the way they review places. If they only put 1 star in all of the places they go to then it’s a fake profile. With that said, D Cuisine was a nice addition to the west suburbs. They have a ton of selection plus they have dim sum. Right now, we only have Minghin for dim sum and that place is too crowded. This location of D Cuisine was right next door to the Park to Shop Westmont/International mall/food court. The parking lot is large and its easy to get in and out. Prices are slightly pricey but they did advertise themselves as Chinese fine dining. Service was perfect no complaints. -creamy king crab meat with fish soup 5/5 - bountiful pieces of fish and crab. Very good soup. -fish fillet with yellow chives 5/5 - fish was very flaky and tender. -peapod tips cooked with dry scallops and mushrooms 5/5 - great vegetable dish. I liked the way they cooked the garlic pieces. -curry duck with tofu casserole 5/5 - sauce is mild, tofu soaking in the curry sauce was delicious, duck was tender."
"Must try! Wide variety of authentic Chinese food dishes, as well as dim sum options offered day and night hours. Full bar service available. Service is superb! Atmosphere is pleasant and clean. Big parking lot."
"It is about time there is another Chinese restaurant in the old ‘three happiness’ and then ‘Yu’ old spot LOL(for a second I thought it would be another MH lol but THANK GOD!!!) As soon as I found out its opened I came with an open mind, after all, I was told they décor similar to ‘Ming Hin ‘ lol The food are delicious, much better than expected! Its not the best, I still think the select few I dine in china town are better but its nice to finally have a restaurant that is pretty good…not just look ‘nice’ to attract customers lol I heard they have another location in Chicago, So happy they finally make their way out to the western sub! THANK GOD!!!! Since it is newly remodeled, the inside is clean, modern, décor look new and expensive similar to MH The dimsum options is not as large but they have a good selection of Chinese tea Good selection of main entrees to choose from, two adult two kids we ordered five dishes! Only one dish was a little too salty… So far good services! As they get more busy, only time will tell with services and food! Iam already planning a Christmas family dinner here lol this location will definitely save us trips to Chinatown LOL Update: we went the second time in four days lol. We ordered dimsum this time as well as dinner dishes. I will say that dimsum is just ok....Stick w real dinner lol Another update! Dine in third time in eight days, safe to say iam a fans lol"
"My wife and I used to order all the time from their Chicago location all the time when we were still in the city. I'm happy to see they've made their way out to the western suburbs. Similar to their city location, inside is clean, modern and refined looking but a much larger space. Dim sum options seemed to be identical and a good selection of main entrees to choose from. We did a mix of both dim sum and various entrees to share family style and it did not disappoint. Really enjoyed the seafood chow mein, Japanese tofu over vegetables, and pork congee with preserved eggs to name a few. Looking forward to many more visits here in the future. This one will definitely save us from having to make trips to Chinatown. 'Til next time, cheers!"
