"Went on Valentine’s Day. Arrived at the restaurant at 6:15. We had movie reservations at 7:20. Very slow to get food. Waitress mixed up my order and had to take it back to the kitchen to be remade. By the time I received it we had to leave for the movie. I had a few bites and asked for a to go container. She packed it up for me but only put the enchiladas in it. None of the sides. If you go ask to pack your leftovers yourself."

"Very cozy spot for great Mexican food! Girls night out was a hit with the margarita flights! The tacos, flautas, and steak dinners were all very flavorful, tasted even better the next day as left overs! I'll be back if I. the area."

"Terrible service/management. I have never felt so insulted as I did when the manager ignored me at the bar, and exclusively served the white regulars. I got my food to-go, but I did order drinks. It felt ridiculous to see everyone, BUT me, get served chips and salsa. That wouldn't be enough to make me leave a bad comment, but they rubbed salt in my wound. I got home and opened my bag with queso and chips and dip, only for there to be NO chips. Okay. Cool. Whatever. I go back and I try to get chips and then I get an attitude. I bring up how I felt at the bar seeing others get served and then they start yelling. It was ridiculous, especially since I used to love this place. I didn't ask for anything free, I just let them know that I actually felt a bit hurt. Ugh. Foods decent but I hope the atmosphere improves."

"Seated at the bar we got great service from Angelina. Good margaritas, good cocktails. Ordered an app, the Tex Mex Queso and it arrived pretty fast. All good. Moving to a table after our 6:00PM event started the service continued to be above average. I was pleasantly surprised because the dining room was filling up and they were clearly understaffed. Good job, El Gran Agave."
