"Coopers Hawk in South Barrington is always packed and busy, for good reason: their service, their wine, and the atmosphere are exceptional! They carry a LARGE selection of wines (that they make exclusively for CoopersHawk restaurants). There are memberships in the wine club for $25 to $65 that allow you from one to three bottles of wine per month. Wine tastings change every month and are included in the $45 and $65 memberships. Every time we go there, we are not disappointed. We had Brussels sprouts appetizer and filet mignon and grouper for main courses. Note: they do NOT serve baked potatoes. Only mashed or shredded. Unusual, but very good. The food was served warm and cooked exactly to our preferences. Dessert was quite delicious; we had a caramel macchiato soft serve over a cookie. I have been to this restaurant on several occasions and plan to return soon."
"Went there for a birthday lunch. Nice place. Food was good (one of the dish was a bit salty though and we told our server). The jambalaya was right on spot. They gave us a candle and truffles for birthday celebrations. Staff was very nice and service was quick and smooth. Best is to reserve your place before you go ( at least few days ahead)."
