"Today, I went for lunch with my daughters and a friend with her daughter. Together, we have three toddlers. After they were done eating, they were having fun with each other laughing and playing in what I Will admit, loudly. A man drinking at the bar had come from the bar and shouted at our children to shut up as loud as could be in front of the entire dining area. I got up immediately to confront him and tell him not to shout at my children. He put his finger in my face and shouted at me that I was a terrible mother while spitting. Knowing he was probably intoxicated, I ignored it because I was afraid and grabbed my children to start putting their coats on. Nobody came over to us. Nobody said anything about this man or came to ask if we were okay. On our way out, we witnessed the man at the bar drinking more. I feel unsafe now taking my kids there for lunch. Update to restaurant. I didn’t hear him call me a Karen. Maybe he had said that once he returned to the bar. But he indeed pointed in my face calling me a terrible mother while spitting. I wish this assault had been addressed. I don’t upset easily, but my kids and I being shouted at by a stranger and then being spit on really made us feel unsafe. In addition, if the server was the manager, then it is false that she came to check on us after the incident. We did not see after the encounter of the man shouting at my toddlers and myself. I do hope for their family event on Sunday that none of the kids are excited for the risk of being shouted at or spit on."

"Oh wow! I had a business lunch here on a Thursday - I didn’t know what to expect but I was truly surprised in the best of ways by Lindy’s. It’s a modern, bright, clean and cozy space with a fire feature inside, a wall of windows overlooking the lake, and a large deck on the lakefront which I now can’t wait to try in the summer. Service was attentive and friendly. I had the goat cheese burger - the burger patty was fantastic, sadly they didn’t have the fig jam to go with the goat cheese but I still enjoyed the meal very much. Will definitely be back!"

"Always a favorite for a nice lunch by the water. Burgers are big. Fish tacos are wonderful. Chicken sandwich delicious. Salads fresh. Cheese curds great. Nice outdoor seating at the main restaurant but also outside near the boat ramp. Always great service!"

"You need to have your next event at Lindy's! They were fabulous to work with. Joyce was excellent at working with us to figure out our vision for our wedding day. I would have never thought that having our wedding at a restaurant would be so wonderful. First, the planning was easy and straightforward. Joyce was always there to help us with our questions and to help us find solutions. The ability to have a bridal room and storage area was so helpful the day of. They even let us drop off the decorations earlier in the week and were willing to help place decorations and centerpieces. We had our ceremony on the deck, but knowing that we could have a quick rain plan inside brought such peace of mind. The staff was incredible and the food was amazing! We had so many compliments on both. Our food and beverage minimum for renting out the whole restaurant was close to what others were charging just for the space! The restaurant is gorgeous and better than many other places we looked at. Do yourself a favor and have your next event at Lindy's."
