"Update since last visit: still 5/5. Had the Calamari, house salad, Roasted Duck breast with apricot sauce special, tiramisu. Generous portions, delicious flavors, great service. Ample free parking. Fresh, modern decor. Great Italian foods. Usually I find 1 dish and always order that. Not here. I like many and pick across the menu choices, so never know what I'll end up ordering until we get there. Generous portions. Servers attentive and friendly. Nice private party room. Separate bar area. Highly recommend."
"The food was delicious but we had some of the worst service I have ever experienced. We had to ask for everything including water, bread for the table and had to flag down the waitress to place our order. They did bring the bill but never came back to pick it up so we found cash so we could just leave it. No one ever asked if we wanted to refill drinks or checked on us during the meal. However we were a party of 6 and everyone said their food was fantastic"
"I am so excited to have a GOOD Italian restaurant close to home. Place is super cute and cozy. Nicole was an excellent server and recommended great food. Calamari was tender with great flavor. Can't wait to go back and try something different. And I'll have to save room for dessert!!!"
"This is for their new location since they moved out of Batavia town. It’s a nice enough place with a contemporary feel not very cozy though more of a wide open space. Food is pricey and decent but not amazing or worth the prices they are charging to me at least. We ordered a half dozen baked clams which were good and would order again. We also ordered an artichoke heart appetizer and was just way too cheesy and too rich for both my friend and I and wouldn’t order again. I ordered a salmon dish which was topped with panko bread crumbs and some mashed potatoes and green beans….was good but again not amazing and not worth $29 I could have cooked similar for $10. I don’t think we would go back because spent over $100 and really nothing blew us away and still burping up garlic at 3am. Seems like garlic was used a bit much in all the dishes which can be heavy on your palette and stomach. Maybe a good place for a glass of wine and an appetizer or pizza and salad I remember their salads being nice at their other location. I would say 7.1 out of 10 rating. Order carefully because bill adds up and then may feel not worth what you just spent. Service was good not amazing, but everyone was kind enough but I think 3 out of 5 is fair and accurate rating across the board. I also think we just ordered wrong….should have not ordered the artichoke cheesy appetizer which wasn’t for us and far too heavy and had a salad instead….and maybe split an entree."
"If you want a place to have a great Italian food, this is it. I am from Connecticut and was brought up with real Italian food from first generation Italians. So, I can really tell a good Italian food from a mediocre one. My wife told me about Acquaviva and insisted that we have to go and try them. This time we went with a group of friends. We first went to the Maple Park location, but they had a wedding going on and so they told us to go to the Batavia location. We went there for lunch. I helped everyone order their food and ordered a bunch of different items from the menu. My taste of a good Italian chef is in how they prepare Linguini and Clams, so I ordered this one. A couple of ladies in the group wanted white sauce, so I asked the waitress to put together my own recipe, and they gladly took direction and did it. We got a nice glass of Rose to go with the apps, and waited for the food. OMG. When the food came, it was like we were in haven. Taste was awesome!!! Everyone loved everything. We all tried a taste from each other's dish and all loved them. If you want a really delicious Italian food, go to Acquaviva and tell them Nader sent you. :-) I promise you wont be disappointed."
