"We went to the Shorewood Illinois Chili's Feb. 3rd at around 6:00. Sat at the bar. First the food was great, mozzarella sticks were the best, Alex's Santa fe burger was one of the best burger I have had. My wife loved her chicken quesadilla. The bartender, Kathy, was great as was the manager who was helping everyone. I noted everyone helped each other wait on the customers. That usually reflects great management. Even when we were leaving a waiter walking by, stopped to open the door for us. Great visit, thanks to everyone at Shorewood Chili's for your hard work!"
"This place is lovely. The food is mostly good, although there are a few caveats. First, do not get the mozzarella sticks. They are very expensive, costing $10 for only 3 of these oily chunks. They contain more air and hot oil that squirts on your hand when you bite them than actual cheese, which is strangely liquid like. In addition, many choose to bring their children, who spray food crumbs everywhere. It can be a while before these crumbs are removed, so the floor is often littered with particles. Other than that, the restaurant is well kept, and the staff is very friendly. Many of the entrees are very delicious. All in all, I recommend this establishment."
"It was okay. The food lack a little flavor and needed more cream. It better than some other places I have tried. My nephew use to work here. He did great. Food use to be great. Every since cinco de mayo last year. Not as good as use to be. Could use some more improvement on the food flavor. Workers are great. Food came on time and warm."
"Service was pretty good but the food was not that great. The Cajun Shrimp Pasta tasted and looked like their sauce came out of a Ragu can. The pasta was clumped up together and the dish was less than lukewarm. Presentation of the dish was OK. They forgot to bring the garlic toast with my dish and had to request it. The kids had individual sized pizza and was a great size for them. The pizza came with about 10 french fries (it feels like they counted them). The Kraft Mac & Cheese is literally like 1/2 a .50 cent box but sold to you at $5.75 it would only be worth it if they made the effort and made their own. They took away the grilled chicken fajitas from their pick 3 special. It was the only thing worth getting. I will not be returning to any Chili's until that's added back."
"Good food and service. We ordered off the two for $25 menu. I had the chicken fajitas and my wife had the cajun shrimp pasta. We shared an app and dessert. We also had a couple of drinks from the bar which were well made and reasonably priced. Like others have said they are short staffed but that didn't effect our meal. I've spent 30 years in food service and never seen a dining room intentionally left half empty because of not enough staff. People say it's going to get better, but I'm not so sure."
