"We like to dine at Jamesons in Mount Prospect, and we stop by at the Huntley location whenever we visit the in-laws. The food here is excellent, and the service is friendly and attentive. We had the Chicken with Artichokes and the Chicken Picante and both dishes were outstanding. I would recommend reservations because the place filled up rather quickly."

"My uncle invited my mom and myself to come here the Friday before Christmas for lunch and we got there as soon as the restaurant opened. We were able to get a seat in the area my uncle likes to sit in and we were tended to by the bar tender. She was very nice and gave us plenty of time to not only decide what we wanted to eat, but allowed us to take our time while we ate in between courses as well. I'm very glad she asked if we wanted dessert because I've been noticing a lack of that at other places recently; you get handed the check before anyone even asks if you want dessert. It wasn't very crowded where we were sitting, nor was it crowded in the main dining hall. Since it was Friday, I got the fried fish and I ended up taking some of it home. I was given 4 large pieces of fish and I was only able to eat 2. I had the other pieces for dinner later that evening. My mom got the artichoke chicken she enjoyed it; I tried some as well and it was very good. She brought home the rice and vegetables that came with it and we shared that later in the evening. My uncle had a salad and he said it was very good; my aunt had one of their sandwiches. The dessert was very good as well. I wouldn't mind coming back here again in the future to try more of their offerings; they had a daily menu as well and some of the items for Friday looked wonderful, too."

"Stopped in with my husband on the way from another adventure in the area and the food was just amazing, WE LOVE THE DINING ROOM! It has the view overlooking beautiful landscaping and in the summer you will see the sand cranes looking down the pond... With the fireplace going on the colder day, it is very cozy. Definitely worth checking out for lunch or dinner."

"In town for the weekend for work and decided to check out a local steakhouse. I had a 12oz Ribeye that was good perfectly and had great Flickr. For appetizer I would recommend the Bang..Bang spring that had the right amount of kick. I sat at the bar and even though JJ (bartender) was busy she did a great job of taking care of me. I would definitely go back."

"We decided to try something new in out area,and we picked Jameson's. At first, we called the Crystal Lake location,but they basically said there wasn't any room for the party of 9 on Sunday at 3pm. So, I called the Huntley location, the hostess was very nice,and she made a reservation for us. The table was ready when we got there which was great! The table had a nice view; too bad the weather was cold and rainy,otherwise we would have taken a walk after dinner! And now, the service was mediocre, at best. Our waitress mixed our wines, she had to go back to check what she wrote at the time to confirm if she brought us the correct wines. She forgot our waters,and we got no bread. She also did not collect our menus from us...We waited for a while for our appetizer (potato skins, very good!),but when it finally arrived, the entrées followed about 3minutes after. We then realized that we never got our salads and soups. The waitress explained that because it took so long for the appetizer to make,she thought it would not make sense to bring us salads (?). She said she thought it would make more sense to pack them to go. The kids got no lettuce/tomato in their burgers even though they ordered them. Anyway, we asked for manager,and he apologized for service. Apparently,the waitress was new and clearly not greatly trained. The manager did compensate us with a gift card which was very nice and unexpected. I have to say that the food was really good! The baby ribs special, chicken marsala,and filet with shrimp were all great,no complains. Everything was well-seasoned and freshly made. We will definitely be back, hopefully we get a more experienced server next time :)"
