Shakou Restaurants

"Shakou was a very good experience overall. Friendly staff. Quick and easy seating for a Sunday evening dinner. The food was good. I had a few nigiri sushi, and i was a little let down. Yes, the fish was good. However, the flavor wasn't really their. Just seemed to be a little lacking. However, the fish was of the of highest quality. I also ordered a sushi roll ( pink panther ) and that was outstanding! Very flavorful and delicious. Food came out in a timely manner. The price was a little high though."

"Me and my husband tried out this restaurant for our wedding anniversary. What an amazing experience! We started off with the chef's choice nigiri, which we had never had before. Each piece was delicious! We both got drinks: him a beer, and I got the claus-mopolitan. Yummy!! Then we split the Barramundi: sea bass cooked in parchment paper. Oh my god, it was so good! The potato croquettes were very good, but they have Sweet Baby Ray's on them. Wasn't expecting that! This was an amazing experience and we look forward to coming back in the future"

"One of the best restaurants in Saint Charles :) amazing food, drinks and very professional , nice crew :) Must visit place in Illinois :) I recommend the Braised Short Rib, Bi Bim Bap, any of Sushi and of course Shakou Mojito :)"
