"I ordered a part that doesn’t currently work as designed. I emailed them a week ago about the issue. A few days later they requested photos. Totally acceptable. I replied with photos showing how the part was defective. I even called and spoke to the manager. I later received a follow up email advising that I could return the part on my own dime and pay a 20% restock fee. They seem to think the wrong bolt was sent with the order. I suggested that they send me new bolt but if it still wasn’t correct/acceptable I wasn’t willing to pay for a mistake I’m not liable for. The entire experience with Elmhurst and the Parts Department is completely unacceptable. Their customer care and response time is greatly lacking. Plenty of other Toyota dealers to buy parts from. Save yourself the headache. EDIT RESPONSE TO: Daniel Briggs Obviously ignorant to what I ordered. I have a base and specifically ordered the step only. The step comes supplied with two bolts. Again to those that are reading this review, this is the incompetence you will be dealing with. The part I ordered came with two bolts that mount to a base. According to the response below the SUPPLIED bolts were inacurate and they're trying to say this was my fault. Classy."
