"Wow! I’ve been with this Farm Bureau on Quaker since 2018. I insured my house and three cars. I specifically went in and also called to tell them a month earlier (Aug 2023) that I’m retiring and to change when they take it out of my bank. Well, they didn’t and I had an insufficient funds in my bank statement and I couldn’t believe they had dropped me. They said they sent a letter but couldn’t they’ve made a courtesy call to tell me! I called them on it and they were rude. My husband and I both went in to get it resolved and they all passed the buck to other people in the office. So my advice to keep this from happening to anyone else like me and I see it has happened to another customer on here, I’d find a new agent!! They don’t know what they’re doing!! They deserve no stars!!"
"I have been a member of Texas Farm Bureau for 8 plus years. I recently missed one month payment (on accident) and they dropped my auto insurance without so much as a courtesy call. I am confused as to what their job is besides keeping people insured. If this is your second job, I hope you are better at your first. Went to State Farm Scott Powell and they are so much better and so so so helpful. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!"
"Amy Riggan is awful, she dropped me from the policy because I called in too many times inquiring about raised rates. She wouldn't return my calls when I was being patient, and nice. After days of trying to get an answer, I got a little nasty with the lady who answers the phones there, and now Amy calls back immediately in a rage, telling me I can't be doing that, and that she "wasn't going to let me talk that way about her business, and job". She also started going in a rant about her personal life, and when she was done she said I my policy was going to be cancelled! I was in shock anybody would do such a thing to a long-time customer of over 10yrs, so I filed a complaint. The following week her boss calls me trying to justify what happened, and made light of Amy's behavior! He also threatened to not come after me financially to recoup losses from selling me insurance at a low rate. He did "let me finish my term", but said I would have to go afterwards. I think he covered it all up, to clean up Amy's mess, and I'll keep my opinion that the entire office at this location is CROOKED! Who treats customers this way? Where is the professionalism? If you're in business, you should probably refrain from calling your customers in a rage, telling them they're wrong, and to wait till they get to you. Long time, financially stable people like myself are what keeps the lights on there, and pay you your salary! Lets see how much further they try to justify their actions with their response on this post. I can't wait to read it. At Farm Bureau, the customer is always wrong!"
