"A great old building conversion. Kind of a maze trying to find my room, but I found it. Huge room with great view of town. It's in an old part of town that looks like it has been neglected, but being revitalized. They have a wonderful omelet bar for breakfast. A nice restaurant on the lower floor with ok food that is pretty pricy; $18.00 for a chicken sandwich. The service in the restaurant was great, but the kitchen was very slow."

"Excellent hotel! The staff was all super friendly, made to order breakfast that worked for adults and kids, very clean and free parking (on weekends). Rooms were quiet and had a historic warehouse charm- highly recommend!!!"

"My fiancée and I visited for the first time a couple weeks ago. A few things have made Embassy Suites hotels stand out over the years from other hotels and that’s the spacious one bedroom suites, Manager’s Receptions with free drinks and snacks and free buffet breakfasts. This location is great just like the others but is probably one of the largest and nicest locations we have been to. Minus the Peoria and Chicago locations, we have been to every location in IL. This location does not have on site parking but there is close free parking, though valet parking would be big plus. The hotel itself is very nice, has an industrial chic vibe. The person who checked me in was very polite, professional and helpful. The manager’s reception was nice. We enjoyed our two free alcoholic drinks and some snacks. The bartenders were great, polite and attentive. The breakfast was not buffet style like other locations. You put in your order and it was brought out to your table. For being free, the food tasted good and portions were decent. My only grumble is our food was brought out ten minutes apart even though we placed our order together and got the same thing. Our room was spacious and clean. There were two areas of wasted space, would be a great areas for a reading nook or work space. The curtains were a pain to open and close and were not black out but made the room dark enough. The bathroom was of decent size, there was a nice walk in shower, plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Towels were soft enough and the bed was comfortable. Overall we had a great stay and look forward to staying again."

"What an absolutely beautiful stay! From the moment I was greeted from Nia at the front desk, to the bartenders, to the wait staff, to the events people, everyone was fantastic. I could live comfortably in these gorgeous rooms. The workout facility and hot tub were also great. I travel a lot for work and for pleasure and this is one of my new favorites! I would come back again, and again, and again. 5+ stars, across-the-board."

"Great hotel. Needs some work. Overall, very beautiful hotel. Clean warm pool, nice clean hot tub. The issue is the HVAC in the room, it was honestly 10-15 degrees colder in the sleeping room, and zero way to make changes? There is only ONE "opening" that would allow you to get air to the other room? Woke up in the am to find TONS of water trickling down the windows? Was there zero ventilation? Honest- my kids and myself had a great night out. It is an excellent place to explore for the simple historic wonder. I invite you to LOOK at every floor, every corner of the hotel. We spend hours searching the history. We would go again, but this is strange quality issues for such a high class hotel chain."
