"Super cute coffee, tea and sandwich type Cafe in the heart of Chicago's historic Norwood Park neighborhood. We were out for a walk and this was the perfect spot to warm up with a nice hot cup of tea and some avocado toast. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the tea and avocado toast were wonderful."

"My husband and I live in the neighborhood and come to October Cafe often. We’re always greeted promptly with a smile and we always feel so welcomed. We’ve tried so many menu items and adore everything we’ve tasted— the maple forest latte is my favorite and my husband adores the iced mochas. Seasonal drinks are always a hit and we love the owners’ creativity! If you’re a fan of dark matter coffee, you’ll absolutely adore October Cafe."

"Great atmosphere and good coffee. I tried the winter coffee flight and it was delicious. They have food choices that are peanut friendly and I saw that they had Vegan/Gluten free options. It was decorated in a "Nightmare Before Christmas" theme and had a lot of seating. I had the bagel and cream cheese and it was very good. It was much bigger than I imagined. I was able to bring my 6 month old with enough room for all their gear so definitely kid friendly. Definitely would recommend!"

"Although they were quite busy, the cashier was very chill and kind to me. When I asked for a recommendation, they kindly gave me one and I was not disappointed! I got a hot Maple Forest with oatmilk and non-dairy whipped cream— a very fall drink! The seating area on the bay window is so cute! Very excited to come back and try more drinks from their menu."

"I was super excited to try this place. However, I was disappointed at the taste of the coffee. I got the sampler of 4 fall drinks. I tried it cold, and the drinks were bland, so I decided to try it hot and were also not very flavorful. The desserts did not have a good consistency and taste. I did like the grilled cheese, and the bagels were good. The service was great, with the staff calling us pumpkins and ringing a bell when delivering the drinks. Unfortunately, I will not be returning."
