"Sala Thai is a wonderful family-owned Thai restaurant in a part of town that doesn't serve food. I believe their sister business is Aroy Thai in O'Fallon. I only ever order the chicken pad thai and my husband always wishes he had when he orders something else (because the pad thai is the best thing on the menu). The food is always perfectly prepared. They offer to add spice up to five levels based on preference. My only critique is that I wish there was more meat in the dish. I order the chicken pad thai and my husband the pork pad thai and an appetizer of fried spring rolls. Sala Thai is the first Thai restaurant I'd ever been to and what a wonderful introduction to the style of food that it was."

"At first I thought they permanently closed! Their sign is gone, but the food is still good and they're still open. Lunched with my kiddos and we enjoyed it. A little ticked off that there's no notification of a service charge for using a card (of any type, debit or credit.) Please add a drunken noodles lunch special!"
