A&W Restaurant

"My husband and I went on 1/31/24 and ordered a special and, of course, root beer! The employee who waited on us, Serenity, was absolutely the sweetest young lady we've ever encountered. My husband was using a walker because of a previous injury and she offered to get his root beer, take his order to the table, help him in every way she could. She was exceptional! And the food was delicious, hot, fast service. Would definitely recommend!"

"Food is always good. But there seems to always be something wrong with the glasses. There is always a chip or something wrong with them every time. One time I even got a small piece of glass in the float. They did replace it but I think they need to check their glasses a little bit better"

Update......................................................The last three times I visited A&W restaurant, and the service was poorly . I was just confused by the way, I was treated because the root beer float was not the same (taste) as well as the service. I don't live in this area but was visiting family. I wouldn't recommend this place until the change the customer service approach."

"Wanted to check this place out. Had not had A&W since I was a teenager. Definitely brought some memories back of stirring up rootbeer in the back. Was very glad to see that the menu has been updated. Came in on Saturday was very slow. They had the MMA match on, it was great times."

"Went with the family on a Sunday shortly after noon and the place was packed! They opened one week before we went and the town is still excited about having an A&W in the area. The workers were kind and helpful. Table service is a nice surprise in a fast food restaurant and the woman who brought our food even came by later to ask if everything tasted good. I had a hotdog and a root beer float in a tall mug. I enjoyed every bite, as did the rest of the family. Since this restaurant is housed in an old bank, they left the vault door that leads into what looks like what will become a small arcade with a trophy case housing A&W memorabilia. And the old bank's drive through is a similar setup to a diner you'd see in Happy Days where they put the order number tag on the outside of your window and they walk the food out go the customer- similar to Sonic."
