"Had heard good things about their pizza. I wasn't blown away but was average at least. I requested pepperoni on top of cheese but was disappointed with the distribution of them. Others ordered the buffalo chicken wrap, his comment was it was huge and the toasted ravioli was decent. Wouldn't deliver to Lombard, even though the roads were clear, less than 5 miles away."

"Pizza tasted fine for the parts that were intact but if you are going to charge the amount that you do it needs to be given to me intact. They handed me the box, I got home and it had clearly been dropped. That'll teach me to not open and check before I leave, guess I just figured if I was spending 100$ they would provide a quality product."

"Called in phone order last Friday night about 5pm. Was told 45 minutes. Arrived a couple minutes before 6pm to what I would call 'mayhem'. There was no rhyme or reason to the chaos. No line, just customers here and there and a frantic woman operating the register, taking orders, filling orders, waiting on tables, taking phone orders. Yet the entire time I had to wait (an additional 20 min at restaurant for my 1 cheese/sausage thin crust pizza) 2 teenage staff were taking phone orders only. I'd recommend an overhaul or delegation of responsibilities, maybe? Customers were coming up to register from dining room to ask for additional drinks, napkins, add on items etc. I'm not sure, but I think they misplaced my order ticket or delivery took wrong pizza and I was stuck waiting a total of 1hr 20 min total. The kicker was, a customer had lost her composure after her pizza order was also lost and she had been waiting in restaurant dining room for same she demanded a refund and ended up in a yelling match with the woman behind register. Doesn't matter if pizza was good or bad, life is too short to put yourself in this type of environment. Would never return and would not recommend."

"The best restaurant I’ve been to in a very long time, the owners are the most humble, respectful and welcoming couple I’ve ever met! The food is all very fresh and delicious, environment is super clean and wonderfully put together, highly highly recommended coming to Angelo’s Pizza whenever you’re in the downers grove area!!"

"Perfect Chicago thin crust. Sauce is spiced just right, great consistency and distributed proportionally with fresh vegetables and or Italian sausage prepped just right. The crust is crispy, flaky and adds to the array of flavors. And they make it well done without burning it ever! Have probably had 25 pizzas here and always they’re excellent. Eggplant Parmesan over Angel hair is equally fantastic! I don’t even live close to Downers Grove. But worth the drive. Ownership and staff friendly and efficient. Very pleasant, very clean and bright casual setting."
