Sonic Drive-In 1200 Admiral Weinel Boulevard, Columbia, IL 62236

"This was actually the 2nd time we had absolutely the worst service at this specific Sonic and swore we wouldn’t go back. But I really wanted a corn dog on Friday, 12/29/23, so we decided against our better judgment to grab some Sonic on our way home. There were a few cars ahead of us in the drive-thru line, so we waited a minute while the car in front of us finished ordering. We pulled up to the box and waited to hear a greeting. Nothing. We thought “oh, they must be busy”, so we patiently waited for over 5 minutes for someone to take our order. Nothing. As there was no one behind us, I thought maybe I needed to move my car back and drive up again. Nope. Nothing. Two cars drove in and pulled in behind us in line. Nothing happened. I said “hello”’to the box. Still nothing. At this point, we have waited for at least 15 minutes to order, so we decided to eat at Tequila instead as the food and service is much better anyway. Never, ever eating here again. I should have learned my lesson the first time."

"This is possibly the worst restaurant I’ve ever attempted to patronize. I pulled into a stall pushed the button, placed my order, and proceeded to wait 30 minutes for my order. I pressed the button again and was greeted as though I had just pulled in. I explained that I already ordered, I had to remind them of my order. Meanwhile two employees had been riding a bicycle around the parking lot having a great time. I then waited another half hour, pressed the button again and received no response. So I backed out and went to Taco Bell."

"Sonic food is always the same and we like it.... we use the app for specials and the half price drinks.... this has got to be the WORST run app in history! The worst! They do not have wifi, it's super glitchy. We had to leave and go to a walgreens to use their wifi. It never works on their lot. I'm not sure what the answer is, but I just can't stand my blood pressure spiking cuz they can't have an app that ever works!"

"Night crew is some baboons evidently, sat forever waiting for my family’s food with no one else there.. messed up order, couldn’t get no one to come back out had to go back through the drive thru, dude had an attitude about having to give me the right stuff. Got home all the food was under cooked other then my 5 yo’s kids meal where the chicken was crunchy and dark like it had been reheated/old."

"Burger was ok and looks just like the pictures on the menu. Tater tots were crispy, slushee was cold and refreshing. Okay service and love being able to order from car or outside dining. I give a rating of 3.3 out of 5."
