King Louie's Drive-In

"Extremely disappointing! It's been a hot minute since we have been and my husband is from the area so it was a place he used to frequent. We ordered 2 burgers and 2 sides $24.48... that's the first strike. We asked what all comes on the burgers and the girl seemed like she wasn't even sure, but she did say lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle. I asked about cheese and she said we could order it. My husband quickly said no onions. He ordered the double king louie no onion, no ketchup, no mayo and I got the regular the same way. We made sure to say we both wanted mustard. His $7 burger came with gobs of onions, ketchup and mustard, no lettuce, no pickles or tomatoes. Mine just had ketchup and mustard. I got a side of fries for $4 and he got 4 generic very salty cheese sticks for $5.90..... Last time we will be visiting!!"

"King Louie's has been a staple in the community since well before I was born. I love that the drive-in still exists as it really gives you a feel of the past. Service is always friendly and quick with usually no more than a 10-15 minute wait. The homemade root beer is the best and the potato planks with cheese and chili are delicious and my absolute favorite!"

"Food is still excellent, but watch the prices/charges. I ordered a single meal with a burger, planks, and small root beer.. $17+ and left a cash tip ? Then checked my credit card statement and was charged $24.xx+? I disputed the charge and got my money back for the difference, won't be back. Bummer for them as chargebacks cost the business $25 or more."

"Darned good burgers!!!! Super friendly and fun staff. Brought my little girls (9&7) here one day for a late lunch around 2;00pm. They’re picky little eaters who never finish anything. They CONSUMED every drop!!! My big Double King loaded up was sooooo good. I could smell the grill the whole time we ate outside. I felt like I stepped back into the late 80’s. Meat was amazing, fries HOT, shakes creamy. Heck, their homemade root beer was even epic. Probably one of the best burgers I’ve eaten in over a decade….will absolutely be back!!!!!!! THANK YOU!"
