"Horrible experience with DoorDash. They called and said they had a flat tire…. They have other vehicles. It was the end of their night when the order was placed. Pretty simple as to why that story was made up. Order couldn’t redeem money back given that JJs and DoorDash work separately. The manager said that’s no way to talk when I said something should be done about it to get the food delivered. He said that’s no way to talk to someone and hung up on me. I called 4 times in a row after that. No answer. Despicable customer service. You should be embarrassed about how your own manager presents you. You have a flat tire? Okay. It happens. Yet when a customer is scared about their money and trying to ask if there’s any other possible way to get the food that’s paid for and they get hung up? How embarrassing. I’ll never order from them again. Ever. I’m only one person and they’ll do just fine, but I hope they understand how embarrassing they look to represent this place in Alton. Oh and I’d love to see the flat tire. Thanks."

"Everytime I come thru the drive through I express I want my sandwich cut into 1/4. They never cut my sandwich correctly. I was told today it’s unsafe. As a former Jimmy johns employee that’s a lie. Do better and give the paying customers what they want"

"Ordered: 3 regular subs and one mini, 3 chips, 3 cookies, avocado spread (side), 3 ranch cups and one drink, $55 without tip, I tipped $10. I had a previous review last year that I removed, it was about avocado. On this order, they again didn't include it (paid $2), so 4 stars instead of 5. We've ordered delivery from this location too many times to count for a few years. What you ALWAYS get are great subs, every time, and that folks is what's most important. I could care less when I ordered in the store a few months ago and the dude wasn't friendly. Did I get a great sub? Hell yes! And that's what keeps us coming back."
