"A buddy of mine came to town so we could do our annual gorging-on sushi ritual. We took a gamble on this place, and I’m glad we did. They started us off with some Miso Soup. It was warm, simple, and hearty. Next, we dove into the Deep fried crab jalapeño appetizer. The jalapeño had a light heat, and there was plenty of cream cheese. It was like a popper drizzled with eel sauce. Delicious. Then came the sushi and rolls. Each one was unique and beautifully delivered. They tasted exquisite. The deep-fried November roll was my favorite. The eel sauce and masago elevated the roll to the flavor heavens. The servers were very attentive and happily brought us extra wasabi. They make the most of the space, but it is tight inside. Hopefully, they do well enough to expand, as I imagine they will be packed soon."

"A great addition to Godfrey! The Nigiri and Sashimi were fresh, and service was friendly and fast. We had the Crunch Roll, Waterfalls Roll, In the Name of Roll, and Tuna Lover in that order of our favorites. So glad they offer wine and sake on the menu - hoping that they'll add Sapporo in the future. Eko and his crew are so friendly and personable - we felt like we had dined there for a year, and rightfully so, since we've eagerly waited a year for it to open and it's so worth it!"
