"We were traveling through town and soooooo glad we stopped here! We tried four different dishes and they were all fantastic! The lamb was falling off the bone, tender and delicious. They make thier flat bread in a clay oven, and it was amazing! It really shows that the chef takes pride in their family business. The space is casual, but clean and friendly. Service was great and the wait for food was short. We often eat in St Louis and this is hands down the best middle eastern food we've found at any restaurant. Highly recommended!"

"There is no greater joy then sitting down to a meal in a place you don't know, after climbing for several hours, and then being taken care of like we were at Aban Kitchen. The food was immaculate. I had Lamb my climbing partner the falafelwrap. Succulent and fall of the bone the Lamb was perfectly cooked and the rice brimming with spices to satiate my hunger. The wrap was fresh and lovely. Falafel was well seasoned and fried so it was crisp yet had a great bite. If you are staying in Carbondale to climb. This is your spot! Great portion sizes, fresh, and perfect for post climbs but won't weigh you down in the morning. Also shout out to our host who was so kind and had immaculate timing when it came to fill waters or ask if we needed anything. So kind."
