Forever 21

"I came in on 10/12 to try on some dresses for an event I have this weekend. Luckily they had a lot of dresses on clearance. I picked out a few and headed to the fitting room. The fitting room was closed, and had a sign saying “fitting rooms closed, but don’t worry we have a 30 day hassle free return policy” THATS IT. No stipulations, that’s all it said. So I figured okay, no big deal. I’ll buy the dresses and try them on in the bathroom and return the ones I don’t like to save myself another trip to the mall. I tried them on, brought back the 2 that I didn’t like. The cashier informed me that I couldn’t return the dresses because they were sale items so they were final sale. I explained to her that the sign on the fitting room doesn’t say anything about excluding sale items. If I had known I wouldn’t have bought them. She basically said there was nothing she could do. I asked to speak to a manager, and ofcourse…she was the manager. So I let her know since there was nothing she could do to to resolve my situation (ex. Return, exchange) that I would just be leaving a review instead. I asked her name to which she replied “I don’t have to give you my name.” If you believe in your policy then stand on it! don’t be scared to give me your name if you don’t think you’re doing anything wrong. I immediately contacted corporate before I even left the mall and filed a complaint and was able to return my items through the mail instead. This F21 location has always had a bad name and it’s a dying store inside of a dying mall. People only go here out of desperation last minute (like me lol) but I won’t make that mistake again. Hire some better, more friendly cashiers then maybe half your store won’t be on clearance. Grace was my original cashier and she was VERY sweet & professional. The complete opposite of her manager. Since the manager wouldn’t give me her name I don’t know who she is, but she was a bigger mixed girl, big curly hair with blonde in it."

"They carry an awesome variety of plus size clothes on their website but I was very disappointed to see how small the plus size section was in the store. They didn't have any plus size bathing suits and very little variety in the plus size tops and jeans. We didn't stay long but the staff seemed very nice. I'm sure I will return in the future when I'm in the area but I won't be making a special trip just to visit this store."

"I had a terrible experience in the store today. While I was checking out, there were two sales girls checking me out while there were other registers available and people waiting behind me. Then, when they read me my total, I realized that the shirt I had purchased was not marked correctly. When I proposed the issue, one of the girls had a bad attitude and decided to give me dirty looks. Meanwhile, there were still people waiting in line behind me. I felt as if the sales girls were very rude and unprofessional. I was not happy at all."
