"The worst experience I’ve ever had with renters! I should have known not to rent from them the first time I called. The apartment itself is beautiful & there are some friendly neighbors however they DO NOT run background checks or credit checks on any of their tenants. There was always some sketchy things happening downstairs in one particular unit. Every time I had an issue, big or small, these people would not answer their phone or I had to call several times & email to get through to them. Within 2 months of moving in, I was honest with them about not feeling safe having a different tech come into my apartment, the wife was quick to get rid of me but the husband tried to resolve the issues. However as soon as they found out I had a friend staying with me for only two weeks, instead of communicating with me, they just towed his car away & when I spoke to the husband, he was a completely different person & spoke down to me. The final straw was a gun being held at my neighbor in the parking lot. I gave them more than a 30 day notice before leaving & several other attempts. Well the day I turned in my keys to the “property manager” (which there is a police report on him for abusing his gf) the owners finally called me acting like they never received my notice. I left the apartment in perfect condition & they have not returned my $600 deposit. They have blocked me from both of their iPhones. Do not rent from private owners, or at least not these people. Everyone I spoke to there has the same communication problem with them. Oh and I never had a working dishwasher & the washroom constantly stole my quarters."
